Happy's Chili Parlor - Soul food restaurant in Paducah - 514 N 12th St, USA

I'm from New Orleans and im a foodie. Every where i travel i taste the food of small neighborhood establishments( where the best food usually is)and with Happys I can't complain one bit! The food was phenomenal! The prices were great on the wallet. The service was quick! Very friendly crowd and very welcoming. Ordered: rib tips: tender, Smoky, seasoned well and bbq sauce was delicious. I had enough tips to eat twice! Greens: not salty like many places. Seasoning was a great balance. Happy burger: OMG! THIS WAS HUGE. it was a HOMEMADE patty juicy and full of flavor. It was so big the meat was hanging off the bun. What more do i need to say?! Fries: crinkled cut with some popping seasoning. I loved them! Chilli: literally the best Chilli I've eaten in a while. I love the texture no gigantic clumps of meat , great seasoned and delicious. I will be back!

Was born in Paducah but left when I was 8 years old. My Dad knew Happy because he used to go there as a young man . He took me when I was 12 or 13 and it was great, I'm 64 now. So great in fact that I must get back there and reaquaint my taste bud with the food. Grew up in Michigan and now live in Florida but I'll come back to Paducah for 3 things not necessarrily in this order. Visit relatives go to Happy's and go to Starns BBQ ( i think that's the name). It over near Bob noble park. We used to live on Rudy Avenue in Rollintown. Ahh good memories from long ago!

Our first place to eat in Paducah and we strike it big with Happys . Wow is all I can say . When they said how about a little sample fresh off the smoker I said ok, it was a Huge Plate of the tastiest rib tips ever ! I was full enough from that then I had to order ?? Happy’s does it right !!

Absolutely delectable brisket and rib tips. Got full so fast I had to take my pork sandwich with me. Great prices, chill atmosphere. Definitely a hidden gem. Will be back!

AMAZING food, AMAZING people I have never eaten somewhere that made me want to leave a review but I had to leave one! Sitting in there felt like I was sitting and talking to my family and i was hoping the food would be as good as the service and it exceeded my expectations I will be back most definitely! Amazing prices huge proportions. When you are going out to eat you want it to be a place that takes pride in their food and they do it’s an art! Wow just wow I wish you could taste this food through this review! Phenomenal!

Great chicken & rib tips! Barbecue is ALWAYS delicious. Friendly service. I usually get carryout & Happy's is always focused on making sure my order is correct & I have enough sauce! Love it!

The food was amazing and the portions were huge. Some of the best seasoned fries ive had in a long time. The brisket was awesome as were the rib tips he let me try. I will be back soon to try other items. Excellent friendly service as well. He went out of his way to make me feel welcome.
