Lady Mary was sweet but she can be a mean one lotsa roaches in the room it grossed ya out other than that had a microwave n 4ft full fridge They don't service on Sundays n she has her own hm but continues to stay n watch cameras everywhere don't like be spied on smh NO PRIVACY n got a lot of ppl that's been there for yrs n pay when they want but she wldn't allow the ppl with a kid stay n pay Fri maybe b'cse they weren't bummy

Easily one of the worst motel experiences I’ve had and I’ve stayed in cheap motels all over the country. Happy Holiday is one of the dirtiest, most roach infested and dilapidated ones out there. I’d recommend nobody people stay here. I’d recommend the health department visit though. If you do end up here for some unfortunate reason I wish you the best.

Happy Holiday motel it's a last resort motel that anyone should go to and only because you don't have the money to pay rent anywhere else or pay for a hotel or motel at someplace else. One. They falsely advertise the price. You see it posted on the street that it's $55 a night or $275 a week. There's black mold on the roof in the bathroom. They used chlorine to try and clean it the one the chlorine they use for pools. When the conversation builds up in the bathroom the smell of the chlorine burns your eyes to the point that you end up crying. There are nails and hooks all over the place and they're all rusted out please don't cut yourself so you don't need a technic shot. Don't walk their footed on the floor because it's so dirty your feet will turn black. This motel is good only has a last resort if you don't have any money to pay rent anywhere else it's the cheapest place to live and you pay for what you get. If you can't afford this place then you're homeless. The owner of the place Mary is Rude and disrespectful to everyone especially she's not feeling well. The people that help her work for her she treats like slaves and lesser than the dirt underneath her shoe. She yells and screams at tenants treating them badly. When you take showers it's either hypothermic freezing cold or it's so hot that I can give you second and third degree burns be careful when you take a shower please. I believe Mary son or husband should be running the motel the respectful they're nicer and they do right by the motel but when she runs it she thinks because she owns something she's better than everyone else and this is why she treats everybody badly.

We stopped at ever "motel" on the entire Atlantic ave. We decided on this one because of price " in season" we stayed 5 days... The location is awesome, half a block south to beach access rd. The room is not great, yes there were really small... It has mini fridge and microwave, and a tiny a/c... The parking is not great either... Overall the room was quiet other than a few outbursts from the livable neighbors.. almost all liveable... 340$ for 7 days , but left early cuz of work... No refunds... Probably would stay again. 🤔

The owners Mary and her husband are very hard working great people who care about their motel. They try their hardest to make you feel welcome and safe. They work every day and keep smiles on their faces. The price is perfect and the location is the best! You get a REAL kitchen and can walk across the street for a relaxing day at the beach. Safest part of the town too!

Dirty, roaches, outdated, chair literally fell apart when sat in , bathroom door falling apart , A/C didn't work the best , TV was fuzzy with cable going in & out. 2/4 burners working on stove. towels dingy stained . No room service. You have to clean your own room & chase down management just to get toilet paper . Manager is a busy body always in your business & acts like your BFF, not allowed to have company, no privacy. They will try to have you hand them your credit card to run the room & once they ran mine without authorization which left my bank account in the negative. Charges different prices, upsells. Would not recommend more than an overnight stay or you're setting up yourself for disappointment. The manager lives on property, & is like a guard dog. She will tell you that they don't tolerate drugs & partying. Yet she has begged tenants for pain pills because she runs out of hers. And She drinks beer every night. You can't miss her, mother hen.A.K.A Miss. Connie .

Gloria is gone new managers are very friendly and helpful. Very nice makes sure you have nice friendly experience. Ask everyday if need anything. Clean rooms not fancy but nice. Will be back. Owners are the nicest people. Felt very safe lady at front desk watches lot round clock.

Cost wise with a kitcen this place is awesome. 200$ a week for a room with a decent kitchen that allows me to cook for myself and my children. Cleanliness is not so great. The room service (changing of towels and claning of the floors) is horrible. If you ask for clean towels daily, Gloria gives you an "are you serious" attitude and has twice informed me that they "do no change out towels everyday". The vac is only run once a week and it was a big deal when I wanted my sheets changed after being in this room 10 days. I have yet to see them mop the kitchen and bathroom floors which today turned a brand new white pair of socks black in less than 5 minuets. The sheets that they say are clean not only feel dirty, they do not have a fresh smell to them and the comforters have not been washed in a very long time. I have twice now informed Gloria that my air conditioner is freezing only to be told it was brand new last summer and to stop opening my door. I am hardly ever here and the a/c is freezing over at night when set at 75. I was told tonight that there is a brand new one to be installed but not told when. Needless to say, its about 80 degrees outside and easily 90 in the room that has NO screens to be able to keep the windows open. There is supposed to be free wifi yet 5 different cell phones on 2 dfferent carriers can't pick up the wifi and neither can a fairly new laptop. There are NO landlines in these rooms so if you don't have a cell phone you better hope you don't have an emergency. When I came into the kitchen and saw no dishes or pots and pans, I asked about this and was told by Gloria they were not supplied. Guess you better pack the camping gear or plan to buy things to cook and eat with. Over all, this place is a dump. I will be talking to Mary tomorow and looking for another place to stay if conditions do not improve drastically as of tomorrow.
