On our travel excursion across the country we found this unique little restaurant in a train engine. They have a separate dining room that is in a train engine and plenty of outside seating. We had the taco trio and bottles of soda pop. The chicken tacos were my favorite but the beef was good, as well. The tacos had plenty of toppings including pickled onions which I love. The soda brought back memories of having a soda pop as a child. If I’m the area, you should definitely try them out.
There were pros and cons but I am giving this place five stars. Pros were that the Bloody Mary was delicious and the Southwest wrap was delicious. Another pro is the atmosphere. Eating in a nice air conditioned caboose was fun. A con was that in the caboose there are no napkins and no salt and pepper shakers. The waiter never did come back and check on me after they brought my food. Luckily, I had a napkin in my purse. I had received my Bloody Mary first and it did not have bacon like the menu specified. So, when they brought my food, I did ask for a piece of bacon and they brought it after questioning me, but I had taken a picture of the menu and showed them where it said garnished with bacon. :)
It wasn't until after that that I realized I didn't have a napkin. And I didn't want to get up and walk back over into the other caboose to ask for one since I realized I had one in my purse.
WOW!!!
We moved to Cañon City about two months ago and have been on a hunt for THE local hotspot for coffee and breakfast. We didn’t not expect to find BOTH at the SAME place!!
Seriously, the food is phenomenal, the coffee is spectacular and roasted here in Colorado, and the customer service is next level. The spot is cozy and family friendly with excellent outdoor seating. I cannot possibly rave enough about this place! It was shocking to not see the whole area packed with customers.
Would’ve taken a picture of the amazing wrap and tacos, but we were caught up in the smells, and once that first bite is taken, you’re not putting em down!
This is by far the BEST coffee and breakfast in town and the surrounding area. Do yourself a favor, and visit this wonderful little cafe, and give these folks your business. They more than deserve it!
Great place to grab a bite to eat and a drink if you are going to ride the Royal Gorge train. You order inside and sit in an outside dining area. We ordered drinks, alcoholiic and nonalcoholic, crepes, and ice cream. The drinks and food items were amazing. Only complaint was there was only one employee that was making drinks and desserts. He was amazing but overwhelmed with how many order he had to make. Consequently, the wait was quite long. Also, please fix the air conditioning in the caboose so your employees and work more comfortably.
A delicious and fun experience!
Taylor and Kayona were really sweet and gave us great recommendations on what to get for our first time here.
My wife and I shared the French toast, which wasn't overly sweet and had beautiful presentation, along with the Santa Fe Breakfast which was the perfect breakfast meal having a base of hash browns with scrambled eggs, melted cheese, and the local green chile on top. It was so delicious and totally worth it.
The chefs Frank and Garrett made this delicious meal and even checked in on us during our meal.
The small things make this place amazing like the orange cold foam on top of the iced latte and the staffs' warm and incredible customer service.
We highly recommend this place to everyone!!!
Loved it. Atmosphere was great; beautifully restored caboose cars. AIR CONDITIONED (maybe put up a big sign near the station about the AC…). Great food (breakfast burritos with bacon). Good lattes (perhaps a little hotter?). Friendly.
Really cool place and friendly staff by the river. They had some amazing food and the trolley car both with the copper top table seating was really fun. Hope this place takes off and would be a great spot for some live music
This is a comfortable place to dine outdoors, weather permitting. Our simple meals were very delicious. They prepared the food mpstly outside. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Thanks Happy Endings Caboose.

I moved here from the California coast and so I was wary of a sushi place in the mountains but MoMo sushi did not disappoint. My server was attentive and kind. The food was delicious. I also enjoyed my hot sake. I enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. The
