The Lego animals were amazing! The gal from the museum was so pleasant and helpful answering questions, explaining details about the artist created the statues. She shared facts about the background of the artist, loved the cards that told a little about the living creatures and how much time and how many Lego blocks were used. Super fun afternoon.
Small but mighty. This museum not only has a solid collection of history of the Logan area and families but also bring you art by local artists and extraordinary traveling exhibits from all over the world. All for the price of free. Totally worth a visit!
This was a totally delightful, surprising find in a small town! The museum itself is great, and the story behind it's beginnings very interesting. The exhibits are very well done, and the permanent art room has amazing work displayed. The staff were super knowledgeable and friendly, as well. I highly recommend seeing it. July--September 2023, they will have an enormous Lego exhibit called Animal Super Powers. We are definitely returning with our grandson next month to see it! And it's FREE, due to the generosity of the Hansen Trust which funds it.
Definitely worth the visit, nice tour, friendly staff
The Hansen Museum in Logan, Kansas really seems to be a hidden gem. It is a modern building with a spacious, very polished gallery. The works I saw were very well presented.
I was there for a one-day painting class. Host, presenter, and classmates were all welcoming, friendly, and generous to my daughter and myself. We hope to be back again soon.
This place is a hidden gem! The museum is free and they have rotating exhibits that you'd expect to only find in a much larger city. They also have started offering classes such as cooking, quilting, painting, etc. taught by various instructors. Highly recommend adding this to your must-see list.
Very nice. Loved the LEGO displays.
Great place to walk around, very high class museum.
