I ordered a cake online for my son's birthday. I received a call from the bakery department with someone confirming my special requests. The team went above and beyond to be sure the cake was exactly how I wanted it. When I arrived to pick up my cake, the staff seemed happy to meet the person they spoke with on the phone. They treated me like I was more than just a customer. On top of that, the cake was absolutely delicious. Thank you for the overall great experience.
Friendly staff. Don't go to this location often, but I really like the variety it has. The deli staff did a fabulous job slicing my pepperoni. Store is very clean too. It's very convenient while in the Schenectady area, and I also like how there is so many stores on Altamont Ave. Will definitely be returning!!!
Had groceries delivered from the store. Instacart driver was professional and friendly., always happy with the service and the staff pulling my products that I order. Thank you so much for your kindness and service.
Everytime I go in here lately there are always at least a couple of dogs. Why? It’s a health code violation and these are clearly not service animals. No employee seems to care at all and with this unknown canine respiratory virus going around it’s irresponsible. I refuse to shop here until they get it together.

It's clean for starters, so many stores nowadays are not. Their deli meats tend to be fresher than Walmart. Overall, I would recommend.
I am disabled and depend on hannaford to deliver my groceries and on Tuesday November 21st my order arrived and all my produce items should have been in the garbage not on the store shelf and certainly not given to a customer. I did call and spoke to a young lady about a head of cabbage how black it was and cheese I ordered and didn't receive. I then continued to unpack my bags and celery hearts I received and carrots and Mac apples all had rot spots on them and should not have been sent to a customer. What a terrible way to treat people who depend on your judgment to send quality food to them. Also I specified no substitution of items for which I received celery hearts. All the produce went to the garbage because I have no way to return it. My loss and a waste of my money.
Even though they use loyalty cards which I'm not a fan of I really liked this store although they do run out of items quickly and takes a while for it to be replaced.
