Very nice park in a basin. That pretty much isolates us from Knox Rd. Parking is essentially on the street. No restrooms. There is a tiny parking lot that can only handle a few cars. My unfounded guess if you are a lot to the park stopping there would avoid having the long walk into the basin. There is one of the two soccer fields close by. The other is on the middle of a relatively wide park. Good lit basket all court. Good sand volleyball court. Large playground. Lots of shade. Handicapped parking spot is on the street which a long walk down the fenced sidewalk and then a difficult push to get back up. The park was not busy but more people than I have seen at a majority of other parks. It still was probably 1% occupied. The two soccer areas are basic and the pitch not good. Shade trees a very good. The city of Tempe has a lot of good parks and this is one of them.
Hanger park has a great play ground, a basketball court, and a fun path for walking or rolling along on wheels or tires. There is a large grassy field where we had soccer practice (it really needs to be mowed as of August 2022). The parking is limited and really just along the street, but overall it's a great park.
Hangers park has two soccer fields, a sand volleyball court, playground for kids (5 and up I would say) , and they have recycling bins/trash cans. There aren’t any restrooms near by or at the park. They usually have soccer practice at one of the soccer fields. I give them 4 stars because they do not have restrooms. Great neighborhood surrounding the park. Adult supervision recommended due to the playground area.
For this park, there is no off-street parking and I did see no parking signs along both sides of the curb. You can park in the elementary school lot and then just cross the street.
There is no sidewalk in the actual park, but you can still get your cardio in by running on the soccer field and the hills that go down to it. A few laps on that will get you a good workout. Downside though is watch out for those random dirt mounds-- not sure if anthills..
For sports lovers, besides the soccer field, there's also a basketball court with 2 nets and a volleyball court. It's nice how the sports areas are spread apart so you don't have to worry about balls flying astray and you can play in peace.
There is an access-friendly ramp that you can take down to the park that connects directly to the play area, or you can just walk down the grassy slopes. The playground is not much too look up but it has a lot of slides to play on...
Overall decent park.
Hanger Park was a fun place to people watch! It's a great place for kids and people who love soccer! It's also pretty photogenic and a good place for a picnic.
Would be 5 stars if the grass did not have so many thorns!!! May be hard for dogs as well. My kids can't can't walk in the grass bear foot without getting hurt in a few steps
Wonderful place for families, and friends to meet and BBQ 2 big playgrounds with jungle Jim's for 2 separate age groups (toddlers & school agers) basketball court, soccer field, and volleyball court! There are big grassy fields surrounding the BBQ / table areas.. there are also cement and dirt pathways around the park itself... Tucked into the Warner Ranch housing development, and horse properties - it's a beautiful quiet and friendly community
This is an okay field in Tempe. Due to its structure it floods very easily - and the grass isn't very good (either non-existent or too long) most of the time [TBH - I'm not totally sure why it isn't fake grass, considering this is a desert 🏜️]. However, my son's soccer team practices here a lot and it has been okay.
The cloud at Kiwanis Park is a pretty decent park to hang out with family and kids. Plenty of space to walk around the pond. Kids play area is good. Best part at this park is, the splash pad! It works well here at this park (much needed one during su
Kiwanis Park is awesome! It's got a big playground, nice picnic spots, and a cool splash pad. My family loves coming here for fun outdoor days. The greenery and clean paths make it perfect for walks too. We always have a blast!
We are from Boston, but when we visit our daughter, we always stop here and do the paddle bolts or just enjoy the atmosphere. Love the view of the planes going in and out of Sky Harbor.
Good, clean park thatâs filled with smiling faces! Family and friends gather often for memorable times here at Optimist Park. Itâs a rather large park with several field playing areas, a shaded playground and a bike/walking named El Paso Passage

The skatepark doesnât seem like much at first but itâs pretty fun dues to the ramps having good transition. It is pretty slick though so be careful, it also has a kinked rail and an two step manual pad/ ledge
Everyone is so friendly and encouraging, I love this place! The workouts are amazing and I'm learning some self defense techniques. These classes have been the perfect addition to my weekly routine.
Classes here are amazing! After a search for a high quality online yoga class, I am home. To be perfectly honest, I was skeptical how it would all work but my schedule didn't allow for in person so I went for it. Initially, I felt a little uncomfor

Awesome Coffee shop! It's good to support local places like this, and it is delicious! Also super nice service and very reasonably priced. Love getting a few donuts here for me and my friends as a special treat during the semester at ASU!

I have NEVER had a bad meal here. I'm very excited to learn they will now be open on Sunday's as I work in the area and there is mostly fast food, so this will ad a much healthier option. The fish consistently seems very fresh and the amount given pe
Stopped in here for a matcha latte and pour over. The best matcha latte Iâve ever had and I was told the pour over was excellent as well. Chatted with the owner for a minute and you could tell he was a very kind and considerate person. Great vibes
