This place is beyond incredible.
The tea is delicious. The boba is cooked perfectly and has amazing taste and texture.
Their bubble waffle is the right amount of sweetness and is so good.
The service is amazing - the staff is super friendly.
The building is kept clean, including the bathroom.
Not only is this an amazing boba spot, it's also a perfect example of what a good business looks like.
Such a cute place and a good price for the delicious drinks!
My favorite is the AMG. Avocado, mango and Grapefruit smoothie with Boba! Real fruit on the bottom of the cup! Love love jt. It always makes me smile like a kid! That's why I decided to write a review. I rarely do.
First time being at Hana Tea.
But for a first time it was a pleasant surprise. You get to choose the percentage of sweetness you want to have in your drink, you choose what toppings go inside your drink, they even have snacks/food that you can order along with your drink.
And if you don't want anything too sweet I do recommend going 50% sweetness.
Come give this place a try and see how you like it. 👍
I really enjoyed their online ordering set-up. It is easy to use and quick. I got a text message letting me know that my order was ready as I was pulling up to the store. We got the large GenMai Green Tea 25% sweetness with brown sugar boba and grass jelly toppings. The second one is a medium (smallest size) Brown Sugar Milk Tea 100% sweetness with brown sugar boba and normal ice. The pick up was super fast and the teas are so good! Definitely recommend.
Pretty good boba, possibly one of the best in Oahu. There was a line when we got there so that already means it’s notable. I got the brown sugar milk tea with boba. The boba balls themselves were standard and the drink was pre-blended (no cool color gradient). Right level of sugar with 75%. Nothing else special about this boba shop, just overall better than average milk tea.
Ordering online for Hana Tea’s drinks is so easy! We chose that option over the phone or text options because we wanted to customize our drinks and found their website to be very clear and user-friendly. There are HUGE signs in their windows to show the process so that you don’t wait in person to be disappointed.
As soon as we submitted our order, we received a email confirmation and a digital receipt (paid by credit card) and waited for a short 7 minutes. Lots of parking is available nearby (compared to their Kalihi location where the parking is so limited).
Our drink order... so yummy!!... a strawberry smoothie. a brown sugar milk tea and coffee milk tea with varying kinds of boba (brown sugar, regular and mini). The texture and flavor of the boba is one of our reasons why we like Hana Tea.
Tips:
-you can not only customize sweetness but also the amount of ice (extra, regular or less)
-brûlée cheese is awesome, but since it’s a bit salty may not go with certain flavors like coffee.
This location is similar to the Kalihi location which is closed temporarily. We finally made our way from town to this location. The boba was not like the Dillingham location, hot and bouncy. Sorry… I prob will have to wait for Kalihi to reopen or another location to try again!
TERRIBLE! I came in and was not greeted at all. I then stood and waited to make my order and there were 3 women. All of whom looked at me and not even sent so much of a smile my way. One of them had a black apron and looked like she purposely made herself be busy. I stood there for a while before I left out of frustration! Shame on you! I felt very dismissed and unwelcomed. Get some friendlier employees!
The spicy ahi is really on point. A little kick to it and great with rice. The fried oysters are the best I've come across on the island. At least when I got them they were super fresh, juicy, and nice batter crunch. The tempura is good but by the ti
I needed a ring repaired that I purchased from Samâs Wholesale. I buy jewelry from many places and the ring at Samâs was very beautiful.
I realized that I must have damaged it and I needed to have it repaired. I checked with Samâs and they ref
Very great, local food. The service was very friendly and welcoming! We loved everything. The Short Ribs, Stuffed Ube French Toast and Poutine Fries were our favorite. The fried rice was amazing too!
My bf comes to skate, meet up with friends or let our tiny dog run around supervised to get her exercise. Park is pretty clean. Wish i could say that about the bathrooms.
Nice hike! And now my go-to waterfall hike until maunawili reopens. The first half is really easy on an almost completely paved trail, but after the water tank, you make a right turn down the ridge all the way down to the valley waterfall. It's supe
For a first time visit, I gotta say it was quite pleasant, not too heavy of a meal, just chose a couple of sandwiches between me, my other half and our friend. I got the wagyu melt, which was amazingly delicious and light for a meal along with the pa
Had my Thanksgiving lunch with my aunty & uncle at the Zippy's Waiau, which is like an iconic place here in Hawaii. My uncle ordered a juice with no ice as his teeth is getting too sensitive, but the waitress brought the juice with ice. So he mention
