This is the decent place serve Korean style family food. Large spacious seating area. Good and attentive service. Variety of selections and Lunch Special Menu. House made spicy condiment. Well presented it.small dishes. Clean and modem decor. Beef quality is over average. Will come back to try different dishes.

The food is great here! In this super rainy weather recently, we were in the mood for something soupy, so Han Sang was exactly what we needed. However, we were extremely disappointed in the amount of plastic they used for all their food. The waste it created was atrocious! We were shocked. Will definitely not be getting take out from here again. But will be eating in again, hopefully soon! Please do better with the plastic waste!!

Created by the same owners of Zzan in SF, Han Sang is a cute Korean restaurant located just minutes from the SFO airport. Definitely one of the limited, better Korean restaurants in Northern California. One of the more authentic Korean restaurants in the area, Han Sang offers a variety of different comfort foods from galbi tang (short rib soup) to bo ssam (which is typically braised pork shoulder, paired with a sweet and savory fermented bean paste and vegetables which are used to wrap the meat). If you are new to Korean food, Han Sang is a great introduction to the cuisine. Korean cuisine, at its core, is filled with comfort foods from "hangover soups" you eat with rice to noodle based dishes. It would be good to note that dishes like seolleongtang (ox bone soup) naturally taste a bit creamy as it is made from boiling ox bones for hours. Always season to taste. Also, while I love a good mul naeng myeon (cold noodles), which I ordered, it is an acquired taste. This dish needs to be seasoned with vinegar (which adds tanginess) and horseradish (which adds slight spice) to your refreshing noodles. I have noticed that the trend has been to order braised short ribs (thanks to Daeho in SF or Sun Nong Dan in LA), but galbi jjim is not an "every day" dish to order as it is on the heavier side.

San Francisco! I was too busy eating to take pictures of all the food (I mean, I do go to restaurants to eat, not to take pictures!), but I can tell you that it was all delicious. The server was the only one working when I visited, but she was very attentive and everything came out quickly. The menu design was also very creative and appealing, and they carry Seoul Night soju!

Quite a bit of wait even on a weekday but the food was solid! Will be back to try other things. Generously huge portion for the price you pay. Service is fast and super friendly! We had the Gal Bi jjim with clear noodles which was so much we took it home for lunch the next day. Meat falls off the bone and the flavoring is superb. The Hongdu-kke mari was a bit dry and bland next to the other dishes so I’d opt out next time. Chadol yangji sul tong tang with its banchan was also super satisfying in cold weather. Add a few shakes of salt and it’s perfection. Will be back :)

Han sang is a new restaurant in Millbrae and I’m happy that there is more upscale Korean in the area other than daeho. The food was great, however they had all the customers seated on one side of the restaurant which was weird. I think since we weren’t Korean they gave us the single person trays, however we wanted to share and the trays definitely made that inconvenient. Their service was amazing through, and the servers were very perceptive when we ran out of napkins or accidentally dropped a fork.

Authentic Korean cuisine in Bay Area. Been here a couple of time. I’m a soup lover. I’ve been trying different Korean soups in different Korean restaurants in SF and LA respectively, the best one is in LA. Han Sang isn’t the top, but overall are good. I ordered chicken, tendon and combo soups. I would prefer beef than chicken although the baby chicken was big. The soups were milky and tasted delicious. Steamed pork dumplings were juicy. Kimchi were good. Friendly and great services. Spacious and clean. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Came here after trying Daeho in Japantown SF. On a Monday evening around 7pm, there was no wait and we were immediately seated as a group of 4. We ordered the same as we did at Daeho, the braised beef rib with cheese and extra rice cakes. I really enjoyed the kimchi side dish a lot more than at Daeho, and found the gal bi Jim to be about the same in taste and quality, but it came with a lot more meat here! I recommend this place over Daeho due to the lack of wait times and overall better portion size.
