Hampton Inn Wheeling - Hotel in Wheeling - 795 National Rd, USA

This was our 1st time staying here and we will make this our new annual trip!! We use to stay at the resort up the street but due to construction/increase in their cost we looked into options and came across Hampton in Wheeling. From being able to come in earlier than check in to being told we have warm cookies coming out nightly to the impressive pool/hot tub area (wait til you see it!! Online doesn’t do it justice the two large garage doors open up for fresh air to come in! And there was jets popping up from the outside ground area for the kids to play in!) every employee that we walked by was so kind to us and on Sundays outside this “ground floor suite for family” there is outdoor grill-he made us homemade pancakes!! Who does that? Certainly not any hotel I’ve ever been at!! Most of the time breakfast isn’t even included let alone that!! And inside the breakfast is full! Super clean-friendly and I feel they thought of everything even water bottles in the gym! Amazing!

The little things: everything is beyond clean - its lobby, hallways, rooms and outside are meticulously cleaned and maintained. Fresh fruit bowls carefully arranged, landscaping is beautiful and not often seen. The staff (team) are next level. Genuine pride in what could compete as best Hampton in North America.i traveled 30+ years in business locations here and abroad and grew up a mile from this hotel. Much appreciated.

We love this hotel. Clean, friendly and accomodating. The outdoor dining area with a fire pit is very nice. The indoor pool and jacuzzi is great, with falling waters and water features for the kids to enjoy. The breakfast bar was the best part with waffle makers, fresh eggs, good coffee and much more.

The staff at this location are wonderful. I interacted with at least 6 during my stay, ranging from the front desk to housekeeping, and they all were courteous, professional, and very helpful. ||I felt like they went out of their way to help each guest enjoy their experience at the hotel. I gathered that from my own experience, but also from watching their interactions on the phone and directly with other guests.||The rooms and beds were comfortable and clean to boot. An excellent hotel stay!||I would easily stay here again if I ever make it back to the area.

Absolutely loved our stay! We are full-time traveling musicians and tour in our van. We treat ourselves with a hotel once a week. This hotel was the BEST! They accommodated us with an early check-in. Free breakfast & parking! We really enjoyed the steam rooms and two hot tubs! All of the staff were so kind and friendly. Kathy was our fav:) They also have an outdoor grill so we could meal prep for the week. If you ever come on a Monday, the owner, Bob grills out EVERY Monday and cooks for the ALL guest and staff. And it’s FREE! It includes drinks, sides and desserts. We had a chance to talk to him and he was so kind. I love that it’s a family business and he’s owned it for 65 years. We highly recommend staying here. It’s no wonder they are # 1 Hampton in the world. Cant wait to come back.

I don’t write a lot of reviews but when you come across a special place like this… it is worth the time. My wife and I make this trip from Maryland to Indiana on a regular basis. We always stop halfway… we hit this Hampton Inn a month ago and it is a gem… we won’t stay anywhere else. It has a ton of corporate awards and it is obvious that the employees take a lot of pride in their work… always going the extra mile to keep customers happy. Amenities with the pool, steam rooms, jacuzzi, and gym are really niceThere is a restaurant with average pub food right across the street if you are pressed for time and Wheeling has plenty of other food options. Rooms are small but kept clean and up to date. Breakfast is one of the better breakfasts … and the price is reasonable.

We had a great stay. We came down for just a shirt getaway woth our kids. The two men at the the desk when we checked in, Steve and Hammad I believe??, gave top notch customer service. They went above and beyond and were very kind. Your pool area is amazing, my husband enjoyed the sauna! Even though it was a little chilly, my kids enjoyed the outside waterworks with the buckets. Breakfast options were 5 stars, lots to choose from. Our room was clean and comfortable.

We have stayed at this Hampton Inn several times over the past few years. It is one of the best Hamptons that we have stayed at and we have stayed at a number of different Hamptons. The staff is extremely friendly, courteous and goes out of their way to makeus feel welcome. The accomodations are comfortable, updated, and clean. Having traveled a fair amount, these qualities make for a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend this Hampton Inn on National Road in Wheeling.
