I must say, other than the utility supplied water being brownish which you wouldn’t experience until trying to run a bath….all was most pleasurable. Dominque greeted us, was most gracious, helpful, friendly & experienced. |Rooms were very clean, towels fluffy & nice, had extras, beds quite comfortable. That’s a plus!!!|Breakfast - now I don’t know what this lady does but whatever it is she has a magic touch. She must place her own spices, prayer, love of her job, and caring into everything given for the guests to enjoy. The frittatas were good, grits done correctly, oatmeal done correctly, ham slices had extra flavor, potatoes nice. I mean we have been in many hotels including other Hampton Inn’s … none showed the care & attention as was given here. Just wish I knew her name…my neglect in not paying adequate attention. |Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Two years ago, I wrote a glowing review of this hotel. Unfortunately this time I cannot do the same. It is really showing its wear, with scuffed doors and walls, and peeling wallpaper in spots. The bathroom door in our room would not stay open, and the staff was obviously aware of it because it was propped open with a trash can, but it hadn’t been fixed. The main areas of the room seemed clean, but a deeper cleaning was needed. The floor didn’t look dirty, but when I wiped up some spilled water, the paper towel was black. At breakfast, the milk tasted off, and the yogurt was barely below room temperature. Of the 6 employees we encountered, 2 of them smiled. It just wasn’t a happy place to be. On the positive side, it’s in a good location for travelers, they are appreciative of honors members (which Hilton hotels don’t all seem to acknowledge), and they are pet friendly. I hope they can return to the level they had achieved just a couple of years ago.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Clean environment. Breakfast was well stocked. Everything fresh. Bed were comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. Water pressure was also good. I would stay here again.

Upon arrival the first thing we noticed use an overflowing trash can right at the front door. Bobby, at the front desk, was not welcoming or friendly. Hallways were in rough shape, dirty carpet, stained walls and wallpaper. King room was spacious, could use a really good cleaning. The nightstand lamps were very rusty along with the desk chair being very soiled. Bathroom was extremely outdated and only being 5'5" I had to duck to get into the shower! There are other hotel choices right on the same street.

The initial guy I met at check-in was slightly rude and off putting. Everything else was cool. Breakfast was good. Seemed like ppl were coming off the street to eat breakfast though 🥴 but I could be wrong. I’d recommend this hotel.

The people in the room above ours were stomping heavily when walking and sounded like they were having a party. It was around 1030PM so I went and talked to the front desk. I explained the situation and the staff said he could hear them in the hallway as well and knew where they were. The way he said it made it seem like he had received other noise complaints. I gave it about 20 minutes and they just kept getting louder. So I talked to the front desk again and he said he had already told them to be quiet and there was nothing else he could do. At this point, I told him if he couldn't handle the situation I could call the police and make an official noise complaint. He kind of smirked/laughed and said they wouldn't do anything. This irritated me because at this point he was simply not going to do anything about it. I told him that I was a paying customer and had the right to a peaceful night in a room that I had paid them for. At this point, I went back to my room and decided to give it 30 more minutes before calling the police. Luckily, around 1145 the individuals settled down and all was peaceful. My biggest complaint is the staff literally did nothing other than ask the individuals to be quiet. I'm sure there has to be hotel noise policy. Maybe this individual followed it and the hotel will do nothing about it, or, maybe he didn't. Another issue that I had with this hotel was the outside accent lights. They are bright and point toward the hotel windows. The rooms do not include blackout curtains, so you have this bright light shining in the room all night. They really need better curtains, like the pull down ones at other Hilton brand hotels. I'm sure that most people will not experience the same thing we did. But, this does go to show how the staff handled the situation and I think they did a fairly poor job. Considering we spent less than 12 hours in the hotel, and 2 hours was wasted on noise issues, I was definitely disappointed in this particular Hilton hotel.

Great room, very clean and that king bed was so very comfortable after a long day of traveling! Breakfast was just so-so. But we would stay here again. And several places to eat nearby was a plus.

1 star - avoid this location at all cost!!!!!! The staff is rude and not hospitable AT ALL!! Save your money and sleep in your car if you have to. The worst Hilton I’ve ever stayed in, I would suggest any other hotel other than this place!!! @mangement - I’ve already discussed my issue with your office. Nothing was done other than a pacifying email with no real resolution. I’m not sure what a phone call would do to help me with my problem that was already discussed with the leadership team of this horrible establishment. I’ll escalate to corporate.
