The staff is very friendly and helpful. This my second time staying here and I will continue to come to this location. The pool is clean. The rooms are clean and everything smells amazing. The area is good with lots of stores and restaurants around. The breakfast is delicious and tables are clean.
There was black mold in the shower. I went downstairs and told the the man working at the front desk. He gave me a bottle with a solution in it. I looked at him and thought I guess he wants me to clean the shower lol! He didn’t seem like he cared. I went up stairs and left the the bottle in the shower area. I asked if he had another room he said he didn’t. We left the next day and when we returned someone had cleaned and caulked the shower. The door to the bathroom was full of makeup and lipstick. I was upset, because no one asked if they could enter the room while we were gone. I left the do not disturb sign on the door.
Stayed for the night for my daughter's birthday specifically for the pool. Pool was sparkling clean, they put us on the floor level which was nice to be close to the pool. The staff was very friendly, let us check in early and stay late the next day to swim again. Breakfast was bacon, eggs and refried beans. Beds were clean, no bugs and we didn't get bit by anything while we slept. One con: There was a very musty mildewy smell in the room. We were in a handicap room and noticed some mold in the shower but we didn't use it anyways so it didn't bother us. We would stay again for the kind staff and the pool.
Positive: Everything! Other than the bathtub faucet unit was loose from the wall. Negative: Laundry room was like a sauna!
Pros: - Clean room - Great breakfast all around - Friendly and responsive staff - Coffee bar was great Cons: - Room reeked of mildew - Carpet was damp - Faucet was on the very corner of the sink so I had to bang my knuckles around and spill water everywhere to wash my hands - Pillows were like empty, lumpy sacks - No plunger 😔 - Phone was broken 😒 I had to walk down to the main desk, look the guy in the eyes, ask for a plunger, then walk back to my room with a gross plunger in one hand, and shame in the other 🥲
The rooms are good sized, priced reasonable and everyone was friendly. I would absolutely stay here again.
I didn’t get a chance to take photos when I got here because I was exhausted. BUT the room was clean. The bathroom was clean. We stayed for thanksgiving weekend, the front desk was so helpful. For breakfast they had so many options from cereal to tamales and waffles! Super clean, quiet. This will def be my number one choice.
The room was very poorly cleaned. Mirror over the desk was broke, huge crack , the light on the desk was broke. Neither phone in the room worked, there was no smoke detector. We asked for an early check in and upon our arrival at 2:15 pm they still didn't have room available. There was another guest waiting in the lobby who had been waiting for almost an hour for a room. Very VERY unorganized situation. We had to be at a wedding at 3:30 and it was close to 2:45 when we finally were able to get a room. I asked for extra towels and was told that she would have someone bring them up to our room. We got back very late and there were no clean towels in the room. I attempted to call the front desk to ask about the towels (which is how we learned that neither phone worked; once is totally dead and the other one at the desk, the person you call cannot hear you) again,,,, this is not acceptable. Any of it, we selected this particular hotel because it appeared to be a newer hotel with what we thought were going to be very nice accommodations. That clearly was not the case. Additionally, your beds are very uncomfortable & the pillow were more like a throw pillow. Extremely disappointed in this stay. ***** When we arrived at the hotel the front desk person was doing her best to handle a bad situation; she was manning the desk, trying to communicate with the housekeeping staff about rooms coming up as ready and manning the phone calls, evidently the person who was to relieve her was not going to make it and she was willing to work a double,,, all of that I got from listening to her phone call and then the housekeeping person was less than professional with some of the language that was being used. All together not what I expected.
Great coffee and food. The thing that puts it over the top for me is that it's a great place to study. It's also a great place to meet with friends. The atmosphere is nice and inviting. And usually the service is quick. They're also the only coffee s
Our family loves coming here a least ones a month. Lots of birds, dragons and butterflies. We also enjoy the events. Workers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Park is very big and clean. Plenty of benches to take breaks and enjoy the views.
John, our waiter, was amazing and attentive! Heâs so funny and has great energy. I disagree with past reviews about him calling him rude; if anything, others are taking it way too seriously and personally. Give this place an opportunity and support
I waa blown away by the sheer beauty of this place. There are a LOT of places to go birdwatching in the valley and this is definitely one of, if not the best places to go. In just a few afternoon hours I saw: turkey vultures, Harris' hawks, white tai
Im taking the time to give thanks to this HâEâB location for taking their time and giving us veterans a gift. It was really thoughtful and kind, means a lot for a business to do that for us.
My recent visit to HEB was made remarkable primarily due to its outstanding customer service. Right from the entrance, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly hellos, setting a welcoming tone for my shopping experience. The staff members were no
