We where put into a room upon arrival. We turned on the a/c when we got there after going out to dinner and coming back our room still was not cold. My husband told the night shift that the room was not getting cold the lady on the night told him they could provide us with a fan and handed him the fan to carry to our room and battery's for the unit on the wall. Seemed she was more concerned with the couch she was laying on and the phone she was on then our comfort that evening. The unit in our room was not an updated unit and would literally only cool in front of the ac unit it would not even reach our beds. We were up all night because it was so hot in the room we could not sleep. We informed the staff the next day that we wanted to be refunded for that nights stay and moved to another room. The lady at the front desk informed us that because we made our reservation through expedia that she could not do anything as it was through a third party but apologized for the inconvenience finally around 11:00 the next day after being up all night and not being able to sleep we were moved. We missed out on doing a lot of the things we had planned for the weekend getaway. Now expedia is telling us they can not do anything because the hotel told them the fixed the situation. Yes they fixed it 24 hours after we arrived so we basically wasted a weekend at this hotel. Every single employee at this establishment said they could not help us we would have to speak the another person the following day and so on. I would recommend if you do choose to go to Waco not to stay here. I know I will not be staying here or any other hampton inn in the future due to the way this situation was handled. They have lost our business.,
I have traveled to Waco off and on for the past year. Choosing to stay at Hampton, was the best decision I could make. From start to Finish, the most inviting and welcoming place I have ever stayed. I had always been a loyal Marriott member, but because of the excellent customer service provided to me and my business associates from Emily Jenogan, I continue to be completely satisfied, each and every time I stay. I am a proud Hilton honors member now, because of Emily and whenever I travel for business or personal, I now always choose to stay at some type of Hilton Property!||The management and staff are always polite and attentive. The rooms are always fresh and clean, and breakfast is wonderful.
The rooms were clean! The staff were all so friendly and helpful! We got wonderful recommendations for places to eat nearby. Breakfast was the standard hot breakfast that hotels have. They have an outdoor pool-we didn’t swim though. Parking was good and the area was safe.
We weren't impressed with the hotel when we first arrived, but overall the Hampton Inn turned out to be a solid option and we had a restful night here.
Driving up, we noticed the windows of the hotel were taped over. There was some renovation and outside painting in progress. The receptionist seemed really inexperienced and confused and struggled checking us in. As Diamond members, we had tried to reserve a room on the app but were unsuccessful. The employee told us our card wasn't properly tied to our Hilton account, and she couldn't find our information. This was the only Hilton property we have ever had this problem.
Things improved after check in. The room was clean and surprisingly large, with a little sitting area. The bed was comfortable, WiFi and TV and shower worked well and most importantly, the hotel was surprisingly well built with concrete floors. In spite of the proximity to the freeway, it was quiet. We did not hear any noise from any other room. Good standard Hampton breakfast. The waffle iron produced waffles in the shape of the state of Texas which was a nice touch.
We got a room here because it was close to Baylor and the price was very good. It ended up being a steal! The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. We got a good, quiet night's sleep. The A/C kept the room prefect all night. If you're staying overnight in Waco, this is the place to stay!
I was very pleased with my room. The heat and humidity of Waco had my little A/C working over time, but it held on! The breakfast was good with a lot of selections. It was also at a good location to jump onto I-35, and it's next door to a Starbucks if you need more options. However, I was satisfied with the hotel breakfast and coffee.
Room was very nice and clean. Getting room service to bring what we needed, pick up trash or dirty towels was give and take. They did not restock very well. Breakfast had a good variety and was delicious each day. Front desk staff was helpful and accomidating.
Christal at the front desk was amazing, moving our daughter to Baylor for grad school from Indiana. She was more than a clerk, she became a go to for what and where to go. Our daughter will definitely be in touch with her for anything. Definitely recommend this place..
Green Door Lofts and the host, Jim, were amazing. The loft is centrally located with garage parking should you need it but it is within walking distance to plenty of shopping and dining. The loft was well appointed and stocked with comfortable living
This place was amazing to stay, eat, relax and hang out after a long drive!!! We checked in, our room was very clean and had everything we needed, including a kitchen. After a 14 hour drive it was very nice to unwind on the couches in the lobby, sna
From check in to check out everything was great. Front desk super friendly and helpful and our room was clean and perfect. Also received texts from front desk just to make sure our stay was going well and if we needed anything additional which was ve
My wife and kids all go here and I cannot tell you the difference I have seen in them all. Professor Turner and his staff is amazing!! Highly recommended!!
The PHO here is amazing!! Holy cow yummy. I also tried the grilled pork bowlâit reminds me of Vietnamese vermicelli, but here itâs served warm. The âhouseâ fish sauce with it is very mild flavored. The menu only has a few items, but it all se
