We stayed at this hotel November of 2022 and it was great. Decided to book again since we had a great experience the first time. Booked my trip, called to request a rollaway bed (which I did in Nov 2022 also) and was told they would put the request in. We decided to extend our trip a day so I booked it and then called and again mentioned needing a rollaway for the extra day. Again told that was fine and they would put it in their notes. My son, my mom and I drove over 10 hours to visit family in the area and arrived around 10:30pm to check in. Went inside and was told I could not have a rollaway bed due to “safety issues”. Excuse me!? Grace at the front desk then proceeded to call her manager about it and blamed it on her coworker Danielle for not explaining the policy to me. Her boss would not honor the rollaway request even though I called on two separate occasions and was never told anything. THEN her boss told her to “remind me” that their maximum capacity is listed on their website AS IF I’M THE ONE WHO DID SOMETHING WRONG!!!!! I mean really!?! We had 3 people and their max was 4!!!! To tell me at 10:30 AT NIGHT that I can’t have a bed for my son to sleep in is absolutely ridiculous. And to make people leave to find a different hotel that late at night too after a screw up from multiple of your staff! Absolutely deplorable!
$270. 00 for a night... and the spicket in bathtub doesn't work, so being disabled and hurting, I can't even soak in the tub for $270.00, and there's a HOLE in the wall of our room and the lady at the front counter gave no greeting this morning didnt even address me in anyway and seemed pretty groucy. Not cool. Not worth a $270.00 experience
Overnight stay here on our way back to Canada from Tennessee. Very clean, indoor pool, spacious room with a very comfortable bed and the pillows were awesome. Right across street from many restaurants and mall within easy walking distance. Good breakfast and friendly staff would definitely recommend and would stay here again
The hotel is nice and clean, the beds are comfy but the service I received from the manager and Grace was absolutely abysmal! I had spoke to the hotel clerk early the day of arrival and request a rollaway in both rooms. She graciously said she would accommodate said request. Upon arrival, Grace explained that she would not honor said request. Requested to speak to her manager and she refused to speak to me. This caused on of my girls to sleep on the floor. Grace offered a $10 credit. I drove 2.5 hours to stay at this hotel based on the information given just to be told that they will not honor said request, didn't come up with a suitable solution and had zero and I mean absolutely zero empathy via Grace our her manager. I don't want to be too hard on Grace because she was doing her job but the manager should be utterly ashamed of herself. I actually never write reviews good or bad but this incident had to be acknowledged. The managers actions were atrocious. Her dismissing a calm customers request to have a conversation so that we may reach a solution is not what customer service is about. It is always the calm ones that get the shift. Now, I truly believe that is I made a scene, she would have spoken to me. Hampton Inn, I hope this is not you customer service/hospitality standard. I hate to say I would not recommend this hotel until the customer service/hospitality standard is improved.
I had a reservation for this hotel on a Sunday evening in August. On the way to the hotel from South Carolina, my car hit a pothole on 1-75 in Tennessee and blew out 2 tires. The tires had to be ordered and my car cannot be repaired until the next day. Even though this is an emergency beyond my control, this hotel management refused to cancel my reservation. I’ve never been treated with such disregard by a Hilton property manager and I’ve been a Hilton Honors member for about 15 years.
I stopped here after a visit up north and on my way back to Kentucky where I am in the military. They denied me a military rate, which I accepted since I was not on orders. This was after I had to wait for the girl to return from her smoke break. Another girl at the front said she was training and sat at the desk awkwardly waiting for the second girl. Then she checked me, quickly then ignored me to talk to her boyfriend. I guess she left for another smoke break because I called down to complain about my room, but no answer. My room was left open, and dirty with hair on the bathroom floor, toilet seat, and shower floor. At least the bed looks made but I won’t go under the covers. Not great when you have to clean your own room after a long drive!
Dear Cat and staff,|To quote Belinda Carlisle, “you make heaven a place on Earth!”||I was visiting with a large high school percussion group. Despite our large group the staff treated us like we were the only guests in the property. From the front desk staff to the breakfast staff, everything was perfect.||Our first day I mentioned my favorite coffee creamer and POOF! They had it! ||Cat, the food service manager, was fantastic!||The gym is more than you’ll need to keep yourself fit!||The property is spotless!||Look no further, fellow band chaperones, this is the property for you!||Thank you!!!
