WE stayed here for a week in town for the birth of our grandson. Mostly it was decent. A couple of the front desk ladies were a bit rude. But the other 2 were very nice. I wish I would have noted names so those that were extremely nice could get the recognition. Coffee situation was absolutely terrible as pots were empty often and only flavored creamer to choose from. Breakfast was very good! Pool seemed to have too much chemical. Desk chair in our room seemed alittle wobbly, could use to be replaced. I would be interested in what the holiday Inn has to offer as I think they have the same owner ,as the maintenance man was caring for both properties.
I have stayed at this hotel in the past. This experience was mixed. The facility is clean and well maintained. The check-in process was poor. The staff at the front desk was very nonchalant. This is my first poor experience like this at this hotel, but it was notable. The room was clean and fresh smelling. My only complaint with the room is with the dispensers for the soap, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. Most hotels are moving to this method, if you like me do not like the single touch point for these dispensers (all guests will be touching the same dispenser), bring your own travel toiletries. Unfortunately I do not believe they will be cleaned well after each guest stay. Good hotel, I would stay there again.
Really nice hotel. The showers in my room were high enough for a tall person. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms are quiet. A great breakfast with many options. Unlimited Coffee and really good coffee. Very close to Fort McCoy too.
Great hospitality! Hotel was in excellent condition! Everything clean! Pool was very clean and well kept! Too bad I did not bring a swimming suit as it looked very inviting! Cannot wait to come back when visiting Tomah!
Don't let the small town look of Tomah fool you. This location was clean, and had a wonderful staff who went above and beyond to meet your needs. Jennifer and Kait were outstanding, their care for the customer is evident. The entire staff at this hotel were friendly and if you needed something they took care of you. The hot breakfast varied daily and gave you options. If I come back to Tomah I will stay here again.
Had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Not usually a Hilton person but chose this location based on proximity to my job site. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and quiet. Only complaint is it’s a busy hotel with a lot of military activity so laundry was typically in use. May I suggest a second or third unit. ||Other wise I would highly recommend this hotel. Plus you can’t beat a free air show almost daily due to military jet flyovers!||Parking can be tricky due to the lot being shared by Holiday Inn express
Super clean and really comfortable beds and pillows. Great price online. Very friendly staff. Nice free breakfast.
We have been Diamond members for quite some time and this location has to be the worst of all the Hilton locations we have stayed throughout the country and the World. We always had stayed at this location for Cranfest every year. The initial check in process was very poor, the gal had very poor customer service skills. We asked about our water and snacks provided to Diamond members, she told us we had to get our own water. The next day we asked about receiving the paperwork for next years reservation. We asked if there was a way that next year can be more smoothly than the past 3 years. Thats when the manager or whatever she was went south. We were told by her that there are 9 other locations within Tomah and to go to a different place next year. Sounds like a great way to eliminate customers is to tell them to go next door or another hotel in the area. As we asked her about this, she continued to be more difficult to deal with and got more threatening with us. She claimed she was dealing with personal issues. Well sorry lady, everyone deals with personal issues, but your in the hospitality field and you have to deal with people every single day. She then proceeded to tell us that she will check us out and call the cops if we do not leave the property. We left the property without looking back. We will never be back at this property ever again, especially when the entire front desk staff cant deal with customers with respect. I have called Hilton directly to mention this, and have escalated this matter.
I had a fantastic experience. JJ's went over and above on the visual appearance of the sympathy floral arrangement I ordered through their shop on short notice. JJ's florists interpreted exactly how I wanted the piece to look, using various substit
A great park especially for disabled children! I love how we can play at the park and easily bike or walk around the lake, too! One of the swings has a warning notice not to be used if you or the child have a medically implanted device. Just highlig
Quiet on a Friday night, which was a bit of a surprise, but worked perfectly for an impromptu get together with friends. The bartender was friendly and the drinks were great; they have a great selection of beers, tap and containers. We had pizza frie
