Worst Hilton I’ve stayed at. Usually don’t leave reviews but this was bad. The hotel was in disrepair and the cleanliness reminds me of a hotel 6 that likes to sell drugs to its guests. Only hotel that was worse was a Howard Johnson in the Bronx because we thought it was a good deal. This place is a small step above that. The cleaning service did not clean the rooms. Doubt they washed the sheets either, found guest hair in the sheets after the rooms were “cleaned”. The shower, after it was cleaned had pubic hair and other hair. Had to wash the shower out after a long day. The TV in the room had only one channel and when I asked the staff, they said they were short staffed and said to turn it on and off and see if that if fixes it. Some teammates that stayed in the hotel had similar experiences with cockroaches and other bugs. I have a big bite that is from the hotel. Once I returned home from my trip, I immediately washed all of my clothes thinking there may be some bugs that I brought home. Would not recommend to anyone. This is hands down the worst Hampton Inn I have been. Trust me, spend the extra money and sleep at a hotel that has cleaning standards.

This Hilton is an utter disappointment, barely deserving the name. It feels more like a run-down Motel 6 or a Super 8 than a reputable Hilton property. I stayed here for three days with a large group of friends, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.||First, the rooms were appallingly dirty. The sheets had noticeable stains, which I reluctantly ignored, hoping it was an isolated issue. Unfortunately, it was just the beginning. One of my friends had a room with a bathtub that wouldn’t drain, leaving them to shower in ankle-deep water. When we reported the issue, the hotel staff nonchalantly informed us that they couldn’t switch the room and didn’t have any maintenance staff available until after our stay ended. The disregard for guest comfort and hygiene was shocking.||Another friend’s room reeked of cigarette smoke, despite the supposed non-smoking policy. It was as if the rooms hadn’t been properly cleaned or aired out in weeks.||The lack of basic services was just as frustrating. There was zero room service, none. I had to reuse the same towel for three days because housekeeping didn’t bother to provide fresh ones. The beds weren’t made even once during our stay. It felt like we were staying in a neglected, budget roadside motel rather than a hotel that’s part of a renowned global chain.||Honestly, I’m baffled as to how Hilton allows this location to tarnish its brand name. The standards here are so low that I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, even in an emergency. Save your money and go elsewhere, where at least the basics of cleanliness and customer service are respected.

This hotel is lucky they have the employees they do and a location near St. Louis. The kindness of the staff at the front desk is the main thing this hotel has going for them. We stayed in room 203. Immediately we noticed how the bathroom was dirty and I cleaned it myself with wipes I had. I took photos after I had cleaned a good chunk of it. The floors in the entire room felt dirty to the point we wouldn't even walk on them without at least socks on. To really nail in the fact that the room wasn't cleaned well, while we were making sure we got everything one of my kids found a bra under a chair. Not great. There is also not microwaves or fridges in the rooms, which makes traveling with kids extra tough. Had we been able to find another hotel, we definitely would have. But we for sure will not be staying at this location again and would not recommend it to anyone.

I don’t know how Google Maps classifies hotels but this facility is, at absolute best, 2 stars. I asked for a room with an accessible shower and looked at the room on the Hilton app. The room I received at one point was accessible; they had replaced several of the parts that made the shower accessible; a couple extra bars does not an accessible shower make. The door to my room on the first floor would get stuck opening and closing. The room itself is full of run down, beat up furniture. (Note the 2 drawer nightstand that somehow has only 1 drawer pull and the massive holes in the wall from missing art.) The television is smaller than a 40 inch television, which in our modern era is abysmally small. Additionally the facility says it is smoke free, which is hard to believe when the front wall into the facility is covered in cigarette butts. I will say the staff was pleasant but I found it unusual that they had to check me in not at the front desk but in a back office. I genuinely do not know how this hotel keeps the Hampton Inn name; facilities wise this is my worst experience at one, other than one that was undergoing a major renovation.

I recently stayed at what was supposed to be a Hilton, but it felt more like someone bought a rundown motel and slapped Hilton signage on it, unbeknownst to Hilton. This hotel is hilariously bad, and the other reviews are spot on. Do not doubt them for a second. The experience was reminiscent of the hotel room in "Planes, Trains and Automobiles." I half-expected to see Del Griffith's underwear soaking in the sink. The TV only had three working channels, even though an entire channel sheet existed. The toilet would randomly flush on its own and sometimes not at all. When I brought this up to an employee at the front desk (after ringing a bell to get their attention), they told me the maintenance guy had already left for the day at 3 PM as if I were in the wrong for not reporting my issue within the maintenance guy’s schedule. They were out of coffee cups for two days in a row, so people resorted to using waffle batter cups for their coffee. The pool was closed for my entire stay, but given the overall state of the hotel, I wouldn't have gotten near it anyway. Breakfast was disgusting as well. The only thing I dared to touch in this cesspool was Cheerios, which, of course, were stale. Now, onto the rooms. First of all, the fact that digital key technology exists in THIS hotel was ironic but a welcome surprise. The carpet was worn and smelly, the linens were dirty, the room was tiny, and the water pressure was terrible. The door wouldn't close on its own and had to be forced shut with body weight, which is a huge security concern. I didn't see any reviews beforehand since this was booked through a corporate website, but I found the reviews to be spot on as I read them during the fact. Hilton should be ashamed to put their brand on this hotel. It must be bulldozed to the ground, and a cleansing ritual must be performed on the site before rebuilding. Words cannot honestly describe how bad this place is. In fact, I almost recommend staying here to experience how bad it is, if only out of comedic relief. Finally, I've noticed Hilton responding to these negative reviews for over a year, yet nothing has been done. Why? This hotel is a stain not only on the Hilton brand, but society itself.

Over the past 15 years I have stayed at numerous hotels each year due to my heavy involvement in travel softball. Hampton Inn becamse my hotel of choice the last few years and have always had positive stays all over the midwest. Last weekend I reservered a king room w/ sofa sleeper for my wife and daughters in the Fairview Heights location. This was the worst eperience my family has ever had at a Hampton. Got there and was give a different room that what was reserved w/ no sofa. Man checking in behind us was told they didn't have a room for him even though he had made a reservation and paid already. No towels in room, no soap in shower and the night manager didn't have a key to get us soap. Very disappointed.

When we arrived we found that the tv had no remote. The room was dirty and smelled funky. When showering, we found the soap and shampoo dispensers were empty. The tub didn’t drain so you stood in water to your ankles! Gross! There was only one wash cloth. There was no toilet paper holder. So the TP just sat on the counter. We only stayed 1 night and won’t be back!

We had to change rooms twice due to the room smelling like mildew. We were told that they didn't know what was going on, but the maid service said some of the rooms smelled like this all the time. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful in getting us a room that met our needs and did not smell like mildew. The rooms are clean, but other hotel areas need some serious attention.
