Rooms are outdated & my bathroom had a peeling ceiling, but everything was clean. Probably the cleanest I’ve stayed in for that area. The manager was super friendly & helpful when I needed to extend my stay another night. Hotel is being renovated, but I didn’t hear anything. A+ experience
Nice Hampton Inn. Kept clean and front desk is helpful and nice. It seemed to be damp in the room. Maybe needs dehumidifier. But other than that, the pool was great and stay was nice for an older hotel.
I don’t know how this place has a 4 star rating. While the gentleman that checked us in was friendly, he didn’t seem to know what he was doing and what should have been a 5 minute process took at least 20-30 minutes.
The lobby was a complete wreck, rugs and chairs were thrown everywhere but they were cleaning another area of the hotel so maybe they just hadn’t put the lobby back together yet. The hotel is very very dated and the rooms were disgusting. They smelled, they were dirty and the carpets were stained.
I was supposed to stay the week but couldn’t bring myself to unpack because the room felt so nasty. I’ve been in old hotels before though, so even with all of this, I stayed the night and was going to try to make the week. Until the next morning when I saw what looked like mouse poop in the bathroom!!
Luckily, there was another gentleman at the front desk that was very apologetic and made cancelling the rest of the stay easy. I hate to leave such a bad review, but I will not be staying here EVER again.
For one night stay, the room cost was 160 dollars + tax. This is the worst Hampton Inn I have stayed in my travel of 30+ years. If there was Zero stars, I would have given that.
1. Room was damp and smell
2. 1 bath towel in the room . Trying to save money I think
3. Breakfast - Pathetic
4. Overall experience - Worst.
5. Only location was OK.
For this kind of service, I should have been charged max. Of $80 .
Will look for other places to stay from next time
The front desk was nice and helpful. However, the room was gross! It smelled like cigarette smoke. The carpet in was sticky and black, and we had to wear shoes to walk around. The towel my husband used to dry off with had black streak marks like it was used to clean up oil or something. We were there for one night and my husband was too tired to complain, so we just dealt with it. Definitely not worth the $150 we spent on the room though. We won't be staying there again.
The wonderful lady who made breakfast was the only friendly employee. My room was large and luxurious, but shoes stall is small with little water force. Didn't like the brand of soap and shampoo. I will not go back, but I did like breakfast.
My stay at this hotel was made memorable by the excellent customer service by the front desk associate, Max. From the moment I walked in he made my experience memorable and I greatly appreciate it. On top of the great customer service, my room was very comfortable and spacious. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay in the St. Louis area.

Fantastic service and presentation. Cheesy Breadsticks are a 10/10. Pizza I had was NY style Pep/Banana Peps and was very good. Crust lacked some umph for me but a great pizza. 7.6/10 Cannolis were amazing. Fried perfectly, delicious ricotta filling
