Hampton Inn Slidell - Hotel in Slidell - 56460 Frank Pichon Rd, USA

DISAPPOINTED!!! I always stay on Hampton inn as a Hilton Member in different places. I came to this one with my family of 5 and they provided a room without a sofa bed which only can accommodate 4 people, not 5. My son use several medical equipment like ventilator etc, and the room was not the one I requested for 5 people. I didn’t get any option. The only option I was offered was to get another room and pay for it. Really BAD experience. Stay away from this location!

Rooms are Clean, basic not much character but very clean & updated Beds are Super comfortable , great breakfast in the morning. Belgian waffle cheese egg omelette cereal muffins orange juice apple juice the kids enjoyed making their own waffles with sprinkles and whipped cream. Nice hot coffee all day long, but Best of all, was the staff especially Miss Kim , she was the front desk clerk who checked us in, needed extra towels for the pool. And gave us info about the area wtd. Said she was here 16 years. Really loves the company and it shows.. The overnight and the morning front desk clerks were also great. Even the housekeeper Miss Dorothy. Super friendly staff made night clerk Courtianna ( sorry idk how it's spelled ) all made us feel so welcome ! We Will be back just because they invited us to come back anytime just awesome set of people. I've stayed in many brands and many hotels this is a small town Hampton with a BIG Happy 😁 Vibe

Just a quick one night stop over while driving through the area. As Hilton Diamond members traveling with a dog we stay at Hampton’s often. Many of the Hampton’s have had recent makeovers. This one has not had one yet. It’s not a bad place, just a bit dated. It’s average, which is what a 3-star review means.

Clean rooms, always dog friendly and I was lucky enough to meet another Emily. She was working the breakfast bar and kindly helped me in getting more salsa.

This hotel is fine. First the good. The staff was very friendly, good price per night, and the location was close to everything we needed. The breakfast was better than other Hampton Inns we've stayed in. As for the bad, the couch was incredibly uncomfortable and very worn out. When inside the room, you could clearly hear everything in the hallway. It did quiet down after 11:00 pm. But ultimately the three stars are due to the unforgivable bag of packing peanuts of a pillow. You'd need five of these stacked to be the equivalent of a usable pillow. Neither of us got much sleep, which is kind of the point of getting a hotel for the night. So in a nutshell, not a bad place to stay, just pack a pillow and some earplugs.

The staff is outstanding. We arrived the same day a tornado touched down a half a mile away. The staff went over and above normal service to assist us in all our needs.

This is a super hotel, close to New Orleans and yet far enough outside to score reasonable prices. Plenty of eateries within a mile or two, such as Phil's Marina. The rooms are really fresh and clean. You expect quality at a Hampton Inn, and you certainly get that Hilton quality here!

My family traveled to Slidell La recently, 31 Oct -2 Nov. We booked rooms with Hampton by Hilton. I chose to get in touch with the Hotel staff personally, I don’t like to deal with corporate hotel room agencies online. I made contact with Hampton by Hilton and spoke with Angel. She was charming on the phone and very helpful with all the questions I asked. We have a daughter with a disability. I spoke with Angel concerning the accommodations that we would need. She assured us that she would do whatever she could to assist us and then immediately put me in touch with the James the hotel manager. We spoke and I explained our situation and quickly offered his personal support to assure us that he would do anything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Once there, Angel spoke with us like we were family, the good side of the family. She stepped outside to say Hi to my daughter as we arrived. She gave us very special personal treatment. Once checked in we asked about a place we could get something to eat. She let us know a couple to places to try. We ate at one of her recommendations the first night. After that we ate a meal there each of the three days we were in town. Breakfast was very good each morning and the menu varied each day. My wife commented to me about how neat and well kept the breakfast area was. She spoke with Doris and thanked her for her efforts. The housekeeping staff was also very helpful and assisted us both times we needed assistance with our room. Emily dealt with our room personally and we appreciated that. I don’t often get the very personal treatment I received at this facility. Even though our planned fishing trip was canceled due to bad weather my family and I enjoyed our visit with the staff at Hampton by Hilton Slidell. We are in the process of rescheduling our fishing trip and plan to once again stay with our friends at Hampton. See ya’ll soon!
