Hampton Inn Shawnee - Hotel in Shawnee - 4851 N Kickapoo Ave, USA

This was a last-minute decision to stay at during our road trip. We were tired, and it was late. There was traffic due to lane closures or construction. I thought, based on reviews, this was a possible good choice. We got there, and it looked chaotic. The person at the front desk didn't look like she was working there. She wasn't even wearing the usual uniform. It felt kind of sketch that she was able to quote me a room without looking on the computer. When she was checking me in, it looked like she had hooked up her friends or family with a room. We got to our room, and it was a total dump. We had turned the blankets over on both queen beds, and there were different colored hairs on each bed. The sheets looked alls dirty and dingy like someone else slept it, and they just fixed the bed. We were so grossed out and tired. We went to take showers, and the water was coming out slowly and not draining. The water was past our ankles. Wanting to get some sort of sleep. We changed and placed our clothes on top of the pillow cases. Slept on top of the blankets and made sure our clothes covered us well that our skin didn't touch the bed. I didn't take pictures, but looking at our room, it just wanted to make you cringe. We paid almost $200 for the room after taxes , and we just tried to make the most of it. I do not recommend this place. Honestly, there are a bunch of hotels across there. Go elsewhere.

Pretty bare bones. Rooms need upgrading. Not much of a fitness center and the TVs didn’t work on the few machines they had. Staff was very pleasant and helpful though!

Old hotel, TV had an all blue tint which couldn't be fixed. If you ever stayed at the Desert Inn in Tucumcari, NM this Hampton in is a smidgen better. Ally at the front was very friendly and helpful.

Came all the way from Texas, had some great breakfast good room service and great area with plenty to do definitely making this my main hotel for trips out here

Positive: Convenience to destination Negative: Had to change rooms due to broken bed. Next room had plumbing problems.

Room is clean and beds are really comfortable! Great amenities and Jennifer at the front desk was so amazing!!! Great place to rest your head and feel safe!! 😴 💚

This hotel has the most amazing staff members! Cleanliness, kindness, hospitality you name it I received it. All shift employees were amazing! Highly recommend this Hotel if you are in Shawnee, Oklahoma! You won’t regret it! Breakfast is amazing! Bacon, eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, muffins, cereal ect…they offered it all every morning. I stayed 6 nights as a Diamond member and I appreciate that I can say this is my home away from home when I travel. If I I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
