Hampton Inn Selma - Hotel in Selma - 2200 W Highland Ave, USA

I will never recommend this hotel and will be calling corporate as well as my family. First off, they ran out of TP day 1 and we had to go to dollar general our first night as well as all of our family. There was so much moisture in the hotel and mold it was disgusting. The pool was out of service bc the filter wasn’t working. No elevator for the whole weekend and 2 people got stuck to have the fire department come out. I asked for a manager and they said they do not have one. We asked for towels they said sorry it’s in the basement maybe the next day we can get some. No cleaning service or even TP in the guest bathrooms. I thought staying at a Hilton would be okay but never again and please do not stay here.

Nice rooms (comfortable bed, plush towels and good A/Cs), but 3rd floor hallway was roasting. The staff was very friendly, but I think management was falling down on their job. If you're repaving the parking lot, don't wake people up banging on their doors to have them move their cars. At least, organize it in advance.

Hotel has bed bugs!! Stay at your own risk!! My husband I stayed there on Sunday, May 19. We were put in a room that had bed bugs on the mattress, pillows and side table. We were given another room but didn’t get any sleep because we didn’t know if that room had bed bugs too. We tried to get them to refund our stay but have gotten no response. I have spent all week disinfecting our clothing and other items and we still don’t know if we bought back bed bugs to our house. Trust the reviews!! Stay at your own risk!!

Visited Selma for the first time from Hawaii. This place wasn't our first choice. However, after renting an airbnb and finding the place to be way below par, we decided hotel rooms would be our best bet. We checked in, and we're greeted by a very nice young lady. Well spoken and respectful. The next morning, before heading out again, we were greeted with big smiles and greetings from the lady at the counter and a lady who I believe is the head of housekeeping. Great way to start your day. I did run into the same 2 ladies throughout the day and their smiles never disappeared. Talk about good southern hospitality. Highly recommend this hotel.

i thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at Hampton in Selma, Alabama. The staff was extremely cordial, helpful and professional. The environment felt welcoming and safe. The facilities were clean. The morning breakfast was plentiful with a variety of choices. I will book this hotel when I return to visit family and friends.

The rooms were nice. The front desk clerk in the morning was very nice and did the best she could to help us. Our cell phones had no service in the room. There was no landline in the room so if we had an emergency, we’d be dead! The Wi-Fi was horrible. We had a picture on the television but no sound at all the whole night. We couldn’t switch rooms until the next day because there weren’t any available. The elevator didn’t work. We were told by an employee that the elevator not working, and the no sound from the television is an ongoing issue that management knows about. We were never offered anything to compensate for the inconvenience. When they switched our room they gave us a bigger room with a sofa bed that we didn’t need. Awful customer service.

Stayed at Hampton Inn for a family visit.|Checked in a little early , staff was friendly but couldn't get keys to work .|Shower door was off track so water leaked on floor , wife has a walking issue and was quite slippery. |Pool was closed although was inside .. made no sense ..2nd one closed at a Hampton..Stockbridge Georgia was also closed .|Breakfast left a lot to be desired..basic carb cram Breakfast. |Next time may try Holiday Inn at top of hill

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this brand new Hampton Inn location...Elizabeth at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming, we enjoyed having conversation with her, Nora at the breakfast was helpful and kind and friendly, helped Mrs Novack get set for breakfast (she walks slowly with a cane)...we are looking forward to staying again, next time we drive to SOCAL...I was equally pleased with every staff member I came in contact with, all very warm, welcoming, and helpful, and attentive to our needs. Thanks for having a great staff, and a great place to stay...the room was nicely designed, very clean, and bedding was quite comfortable, and nice and fresh, as advertised.
