We stayed here both in June of 2024 and August 2024. In June we checked in late evening. Everything went well - the room was nice and clean and the breakfast was pretty standard. They only had one elevator working which was incredibly slow so we used the stairs most of the time. The valet service is expensive and they lost our car once. When we arrived in August to check in at 3, they didn’t have a room ready for us. No apologies, just that they had been fully booked the night before so they didn’t know when they’d even have a room ready. This seemed a little ridiculous since checkin is at 3 and disappointing that they didn’t even apologize. The lobby was full of people waiting for the next hour for their rooms to be ready. The room again was nice and clean. Unfortunately though they again had only one elevator working. It’s a good price and great location but just know that their customer service is below average.

Newer hotel, modern. King-size room was clean, roomy and neatly appointed. I liked the furniture's built-in luggage shelf. I appreciated having a hot breakfast and hot coffee each morning. There's bar service in the lobby in the evening. Location is easy to everything. Steps away from Reynolds Square, the Olde Pink House restaurant, the trolley tour stop, two blocks from Leopold's ice cream. Cons: how can an elevator be out of service for months? Is there not an elevator repair service in Savannah or the state of Georgia? On the evening of Sun., Sept. 1st and Mon., Sept. 2nd (Labor Day 2024) BOTH elevators in the 7-story hotel were out of service. Both elevators. Unacceptable. If you stay here, ask for a lower floor. Also, the doors by the stairs open and close very loudly and woke me up before 6 am. Not happy about that.

Great location and a very nice hotel. This hotel is very close to River Street and lots of restaurants. |The rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated. Beds are comfortable except they are a little high for short people. |My only complaints are the placement of soap, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Your elbows constantly hit them they would have been better on the back wall. Also the tv keeps freezing up.|Breakfast is in a nice location and is constantly monitored so its exceptionally clean and well stocked. The staff is also top notch and willing to make sure you feel at home and have a great breakfast experience.|Check in was a breeze and the staff was very professional and personable. The car valets are quick and ready to help with luggage. All the employees were great and really make you feel welcomed.|Cate the concierge is probably one of the best assets Hampton has. She has a great personality and is very warm and genuine. She greets the guests as they come thru the door. She knows Savannah like the back of her hand. She is always ready to help answer any question you have whether it's about a tour or not. |I highly recommend this hotel for its location and staff.

5 stars for the location and front desk staff. The room was nice and clean but a couple of our lights and outlets weren’t working. One of the 2 elevators was broken and the working one was incredibly slow. It would get very packed with people at times. The valet was also very low effort and one of the staff members was very rude. The lobby was beautiful and the breakfast selection was excellent. I definitely recommend staying here overall but maybe skip the valet parking.

We always enjoy staying at Hilton properties because they’re pet-friendly. This particular location only offers valet parking, but we were within walking distance of everything we wanted to do, so it wasn’t an issue. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the free coffee every morning. However, there was one major downside. One of the elevators was out of service the entire weekend, leading to long waits and crowded rides. On our last day, the remaining elevator also broke down, forcing us to carry our luggage—and our dog—down seven flights of stairs, all while dealing with a knee injury. That part was definitely not fun.

Great location. Manager/Bar Manager was great and friendly. Concierge is outstanding! However, one elevator down for two of our days, and the second one failed on the third. This should have had an emergency plan in place as it put everyone in danger. Other issue is the standard breakfast area. The ladies working there were great and continuously working, but this style of “instant” breakfast enables the gross selfishness and unsanitary attitudes of people, so it’s not a good experience. Yes, I will stay at this hotel the next time I’m in Savannah. I liked that we just walked across to the Riverwalk area, and several great restaurants and shops were short walks away.

Jamari was excellent. His customer service is top notch. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Jamari shows that he is capable of his job, is very knowledgeable and should be placed in a supervisory position. I was very upset when Jamari first approached me…but with his kind words and compassionate attitude I was put at ease and quickly became somewhat happy again. For this reason I am more than willing to stay here again in the future.

The location is great for this hotel and the rooms are reasonably nice, but I would not recommend staying there at this time. Upon arrival for our 3 night stay, we were told there would be no housekeeping until the third day (when we leave). There was only one working elevator, which has apparently been the case for months. An employee told us there was no plan to actually fix the elevator, which seems like a life safety issue for this 7 story hotel. This caused considerable delays trying to use the elevator, including having to wait on the next elevator because it was always full. | Our first room was next to the stairs on the 4th floor. Because of the elevator situation, people were using the stairs constantly and the door kept slamming shut, sounding like a bomb was going off in our room every few minutes. The room smelled of sulfur for some reason. We moved rooms to another floor. That room was much nicer, but there was construction on a lot across the street which began before 7a, so we were again disturbed. When you pull up to the hotel, it says "Valet Only." The valet costs $45 per night (!). We were never told that we could park at the parking garage across the street for $20 per night. Maybe once the construction is done and they fix the elevator, this will once again be a good hotel. Until then, I won't be coming back.
