The staff was very helpful from confirming my reservation to check in. I was traveling with my dog and the staff all treated my do with care. The staff let me know about a dog walk area nearby too.
The free breakfast was very appreciated. Hot scrambled eggs, sausage patties and biscuits with gravy! Other items included bagel and waffle station and a coffee, juice bar area. The location was very close to my destination.
The only issue I had was the television didn't work and the coffee pot in room was missing the basket so I couldn't watch the news or make my morning cup of coffee in room. The saving grace was the hot coffee bar in the lobby!
Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting friends in the area. We really enjoyed it. Rooms were spacious and clean. Beds & pillows were probably the most comfortable I have ever slept on. Good selection for breakfast, the usual but also had fresh fruit and our last day had french toast. The breakfast area was never overcrowded while we were there, even though the parking lot always seemed pretty full. Guest washer and dryer. Nice work out room. They did have two nice outside seating areas. One being by the outside pool, which didn't seem open while we were there. But it was a little chilly still. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

Great Hampton. Definitely worth the few miles off 81 for a clean , updated hotel. One of the best Hampton breakfast- nice selection and super clean. Nice outdoor pool. Also enjoyed the outdoor seating area to have take out for dinner.
Nice clean room with breakfast that's very good. Loved having coffee and hot water for tea (travel with my tea) available late evening. Just a lovely pleasant calming environment.
The entire staff is extremely nice and the rooms are clean and taken care of.
Only this is if you arrive later in the night, parking is a little ruff.
If you have an EV, they have three working spots. Chat with the staff prior to arrival in the Hilton app and they can tell you how many spots are free!
We had reserved an airbnb, but when we arrived the place was such a mess that we couldn't sleep there. We called this Hampton and Stephanie got us rooms at the last minute. Clean and comfortable and quiet. Hampton always comes through, and Stephanie was an added bonus.

The Salem Museum is a first class, local history site. They have modern, informative exhibits, friendly staff, a beautiful facility, and awesome programs. Be sure to check out the ghost tours and surround cemetery. A must visit while in Salem!
This park is a favorite of ours. There is no playground, but instead there is a river that is always fun for kids to throw rocks in. If the water level is lower it is great for swimming as well. There is a section of pavement that is great for runnin
Great place for karaoke, people are Uber friendly regardless of who you meet. Drinks are decent, service is on point. Food was good for bar food. If you come to play pool bring cash :)
