Hampton Inn Salem Boston - Hotel in Salem - 11 Dodge St, USA

Pros: Location is great, good walking distance for many of the main sites. Rooms were clean and new, good water pressure in the showers. Cons: Pool was dirty, went twice with my son. On both days same debris, hair, discarded bandages, trash and wet floor signs in the same locations on both days indicating no cleaning performed. Service: First room had a electronic door lock issue. We wanted to go explore, but had to wait until the door was fixed, they decided to move us to a separate room altogether. No issues. Upon check out we realized we left a newly purchased dress in the original closet. Once we realized, we went to the front desk. Front desk said "we will go check" nothing in there. They mentioned they checked the room out to someone else and assumed it must have been taken by them or check with housekeeping to see if they may have taken it. If we were moved from one room to the other, we should have double checked, but again lock was not functioning. And if they sold the room, they obviously didn't clean very well, or they would have opened the closet and found the dress.

This is a new hotel very continently located to everything you want to see and do in Salem. I stayed with my two daughters (15 and 20). Upon arrival check in was fast and staff were very helpful with information about the hotel and surrounding area. The rooms are spacious and clean and bathrooms were large with great shower pressure. Breakfast was a real hit and we enjoyed the cute booths with tvs to watch the morning news. A fantastic buffet breakfast including eggs, hash potatoes, cereals, make your own waffles, loads of breads and toppings, coffee and juices - a fantastic variety to suit the whole family. |Complimentary coffee in the foyer all day.|The pool is indoor which I find odd considering it was over 30 degrees Celsius but I guess it gets cold in winter. Great WiFi and selection of shows on the g , was able to log into my Netflix account and watch scary movies to get into the theme of the trip! The ice vending machine came in very handy as it was hot and the air conditioning was 10/10 for performance however was quite noisy at night. |We had a view overlooking town and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend for families A++++

The hotel is within walking distance of most attractions and restaurants. The room was cozy and the A/C in the room worked great. The breakfast was very tasty. Contactless check in (with Hilton app) was very convenient. The staff is also polite and helpful. The starbucks directly across the road was a plus..

Wonderful staff! Great location. Great breakfast. 24/7 coffee and tea. Nice rooms. Self park $25. Valet available. But once you are in, you can walk ANYWHERE in Salem! Lots of restaurants and a nice sports bar adjacent to the mail lobby. It can be noisy, so get a room away from the bar!

We ended up paying $400/night for our room and were pretty disappointed. First and foremost, parking should have been included in the $400/night we paid. The room itself was clean enough except for the shower, which had suspicious hairs on the walls and visible dirt on the floor. There was also no removable shower head and the fixed shower head was about what you'd expect of a college dorm bathroom. Breakfast was included and actually pretty good except it was served on paper plates and plastic utensils. I would stay here again for $150/night but for absolutely not for $400/night.

Recently spent 2 nights at the hotel. It’s a perfect location within 5-10 minutes of a walk to all Salem tourist locations and restaurants/bars. The hotel itself was clean and the rooms were good sized and comfortable. Parking was a bit expensive but conveniently on site.

We stayed here for 6 days and it was amazing! Everyone from the desk clerks, cleaning crew, breakfast crew, and valet were so friendly and helpful! This is our|second time staying in Salem and at this hotel. We will stay here everytime!|Thanks for creating a friendly, happy and safe environment for your guests!

Hi, I just wanted to share my disappointing experience at Hampton Salem. If you are looking for the the same Hampton Inn service here you will be disappointed. We booked our stay for four days. On the first day of our stay we noticed two additional charges to our visa after we just payed the balance the day before. We spoke with the manager she said it was our Visa at fault and offered no other assistance. We contacted visa and the charge was clearly from Hampton Inn. The next day more charges we put on our card for no reason and once again management did nothing. We then put a hold on our card so no other charges can be added without our authorization, therefore leaving our credit card unusable for the remainder of our trip. After returning home two days later more charges were put on over 1000 dollars Canadian in total.Hampton Inn headquarters is now investigating this fraudulent behavior as well as visa. The only reason for the two starts is that the breakfast staff and cleaning staff were very good. Hampton lost a loyal customer we will not be returning.
