Hampton Inn Redmond Bend Airport - Hotel in Redmond - 3901 SW 21st St, USA

Easy to get to and soooo close to airport. ||Clean and new with typical Hampton room layout. Comfy bed! They clean rooms why other day which is perfect. ||I used points for my room. And had great hospitality and no issues. ||My room faced the freeway and I didn't hear anything, so I'm unsure where previous poster said. ||Central Oregon is having problems with wildfires. The whole area smells. That's not the hotel.

I have stayed at the Hampton Inn Airport in Redmond three times: once in February, once in May, and again in August. Overall, this hotel is mediocre at best. The staff generally aren't very welcoming, and my interactions with them often felt like I was bothering them. Despite being a Hilton Honors member, I was never offered the complimentary water bottles and snacks I was entitled to. As for the rooms, they initially appear nice, but upon closer inspection, they lack proper cleaning. I found stains on the walls at a height of about 7 to 8 feet, which are quite noticeable and should have been addressed. Additionally, the HVAC vents were coated in dust, indicating they hadn't been cleaned in some time. The room smelled like body odor. Upon investigating I found that it was from the air conditioner. They're not properly cleaning their air conditioners which is creating a BO / vinegar-based smell in their rooms. In room 102, I discovered an issue with the lighting: the bedside lamp is wired to the hallway light, meaning both have to be on or off together. This is a simple oversight from construction, but it’s quite inconvenient. Redmond doesn't offer many hotel options, but I recommend trying to find another place. The value at this Hampton Inn just isn't there. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Good hotel for overnight stay. Pretty new and well kept, very nice employees we interacted with. Beds and especially pillows are not comfortable for me. Breakfast was ok, typical hotel breakfast. The breakfast lady was super nice and area was very clean. Shower had amazing water pressure! Would return there just for that! :)

Arrived to a room with a TV that was not working. Do you all not check to make sure everything works in the room correctly before placing someone in them? My husband spent 45 mins trying to fix it himself and continued to try to fix it when we returned from dinner. No one ever came up to help. The guy working the front desk on 8/15/24 about 4pm seemed to careless about our issue and based on his tone seemed irritated with me calling concerning the issue. I’m sorry that I want a working TV in a room that we paid for. Do your job. I asked for another room and he stated fully booked. When we left for dinner him and another coworker were up front chatting no one had yet to come to help us. We even delayed our dinner waiting on someone. He stated someone would come to take a look at it and no one ever did. What a joke to pay for a hotel room and the TV to be out and you don’t even come to try and help fix the issue. When we checked out the next day I did tell the lady up front and she gave us a 10% discount but told us if it was yesterday afternoon that the guy running the desk was alone and had no one to help. Well he did not tell us that. Instead he acted inconvenienced and I guess lied about someone taking a look at it. The least he could have done was told the truth that there was no one available to help us (we would have understood honesty) and offered us a discount for the TV being messed up.

Used points for one night as we landed late at the airport and wanted a close place to stay. Check in was easy. Room had an Oder to it which might have been from the wild fires . The kicker was we had no electricity in the room except the bathroom and AC unit when we woke up. We got ready by window light and checked out. The front desk was kind and said we should have called down but it was 6 am and we left at 7||Not sure I would return

Lovely facility, nice rooms, good breakfast, and the folks at the front desk were real nice. When I went to check out I was told they they do not accept cash for payment. I asked why and was told that it's a "liability issue." I suggested they let management/ownership know that they need to re-think their policy as I'm likely not the only guest who prefers cash to credit cards. They replied that I wasn't the first, and "if they were to pass along your comments, I would be laughed out of the meeting." (Imagine that) ||As I sat in the lobby drinking coffee, every second person checking out had an issue with their quoted room rate. I'll be checking out tomorrow. (fingers crossed)||Nice place, but the no cash policy means that I won't be coming back, sadly I suspect that won't mean a thing to Hampton's ownership at this location. Still 4 stars out of what would have been a 5 star review.

Nice Buildings and Rooms. Staff were good. Maintenance is an issue? There are two elevators, and one was out of service for our stay. The TV ...sucks. Nice big screen....no channels. They have direct TV with a weak link for the whole motel. We had 4 channels in the evening, and no channels in the morning....

I really enjoy Hilton brand hotels and this property holds up to that standard. Room was clean, pillows and bed were Hilton quality and comfortable. The staff was extremely polite and very helpful. Breakfast was ready on time and good. Location is ok, but not the hotels fault really, just the location.
