Hampton Inn Perry - Hotel in Perry - 2399 S Byron Butler Pkwy, USA

Do not stay at this hotel. The rooms had a terrible smell and the rugs in the rooms are dirty. I had to purchase a plug in for the room. We had a total of three rooms and they all smelled. The staff at the front desk was always outside smoking and hanging out never at the desk. The bath clothes had holes in them. I always bring disposable sheets and pillowcases on all of my trips, I am so glad I had them this trip. The rooms are old and moderately clean. The breakfast is not worth it. We made reservations for 5 days and everyday we had to go to the desk to get our key cards activated, I don’t know why because normally your card key is activated for your stay. The staff do not care about any of your needs. This was a very unhappy stay for me. We are Hilton Honors members and I started to go across the street to Holiday Inn Express but my husband wanted to keep all his points. DONOT STAY HERE. A Waste of money.

I was very surprised at how clean this hotel was for a Hampton Inn.... being in a small town. They were very professional & the breakfast was so yummy. The morning lady definitely took pride in her serving the guests. If you are a light sleeper, ask to stay on the back side of the hotel, you will hear trucks go by until around 1030-11pm.

I highly recommend this hotel. Excellent customer service above and beyond any guest would expect. The rooms were pristine clean. the breakfast was amazing. The location was perfect. When I come back to town I would definitely stay there again. The staff didn't excellent job making sure all of the guests well taking care of thanks for a job well done

Very clean and comfortable! We had two rooms on the ground floor and they were very accessible to the parking area and for loading and unloading luggage. The staff was very personable and pleasant and the breakfast area was nice too. It seemed that it had recently been remodeled and everything was up to date and in good working order. I would recommend this as an excellent roadside stop.

The room across the hall and the room next door to us was having a party . Finally at 1:00 a m. We decided to call the front desk to complain but the phone in the room didn't even have a cord to plug it in . So my son went down to the front desk and no one was at the front desk he had to knock on the office door to get someone to out and talk to him. The lady working proceeded to tell him he could change rooms but refused to go tell the people having the party to stop. I then went down to complain and she said the same thing to me. I got very upset because we had my 3 year old grandbaby with us and she wanted us to wake her up to change rooms instead of doing her job. After getting very pissed off about it I guess she finally decided to call up to the people having the party . It didn't quite down until somewhere around 2:00 a.m. The next morning I spoke to the manager and he said he was going to look into it and call me. Well needless to say he never called me and I'm sure he never had any intentions on calling me. I have stayed at a lot of Hampton inns across the U.S. and this one was definitely the worst one by far.

Non smoking room had a strong smoke odor in it. When we told front desk she just apologized and said someone must of smoked in the rooms around you. Please do thorough research before staying at this hotel and even ask to check the room before you accept it.

Hotel overall is very clean and well maintained, and the breakfast buffet has to be the very best we've found at a Hampton. None of the 'old usual', here we found fresh ingredients, well presented and maintained by friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

The friendliest staff of any hotel on our trip. Very clean, good breakfast. A little high priced....lots of stores and eating places in the area.
