Hampton Inn Panama City Beach - Hotel in Panama City Beach - 2909 Thomas Dr, USA

My experience at this hotel was horrible. This was the last hotel that I could booked in Panama at this time. I should have trusted my first instinct when I first walked in room 219 the smell was very strange. As I got comfortable I notice that the floor was real cold and then as I kept walking around the whole room my socks were getting soaked and wet. I noticed an individual at front desk and he didn’t show any sympathy about what was going on. I asked did anyone experience it before and he said no and that he would send out housekeeping. I can’t stay in that room any longer so I stayed gone because the room was smelling like mold/mildew. Later that day after getting back after midnight I saw that had a email from a lady name Tonya saying that my new room was available and someone be trying to reach me. The hotel has my number so I was wondering why I didn’t get call or why nobody say anything to me when I was in and out and when I went to front desk and gave them my room number to get more towels for the room. The fact that I was told it was nothing wrong with the room and nobody complained just to find out it’s a ac leak in that room by one of the employees. I feel like this experience was very hazardous from me and my family in that room. The bed was very moist out clothes was getting moist and just didn’t feel safe. When I go on vacation and came to Panama I always stay with Hampton and this the third incident dealing with Hampton.

We recently stayed at the Hampton Inn Panama City Beach for a quick weekend getaway and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Every staff member we encountered was courteous and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. One of the highlights of our stay was the location and the free breakfast. My family absolutely loved it – the attractions were close by and outside the traffic zone. The breakfast buffet that was offered has plenty of different selections and each was flavored so well! We were honestly impressed, certainly one of the top I’ve had! The serene atmosphere provided the perfect setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. The hotel's amenities, including the fitness center and pool, were pleasant and well-maintained. Dining options were very close to the location with delicious food and amazing service. Overall, our stay at Hampton Inn was memorable, and we look forward to returning to this location in the future.

The night stay was so relaxing. The hotel is so clean inside and outside. The pool area was so nice that I took a little nap. Sitting back, it is very quiet. In the room, it is quiet, no people noise. The staff work very hard cleaning. The front desk staff are very kind and helpful. The breakfast staff are doing an amazing job. I have a small dog. I was on the 3rd floor, and it worked out just perfect. I would tell everyone to stay here. I was very pleased. You will be pleased too!

We stayed 6/30-7/03, and were not pleased. Interactions with staff were rather unwelcoming. Our hotel room was dirty. The comforter on one of the beds had a huge stain on it and reeked of vomit. I could tell that it had been washed but regardless, a comforter with a vomit stain that still smells should be thrown away. The shower didn’t drain and we were ankle deep in water every time we showered. The floors in the hotel room bathroom and walkway looked like they hadn’t been mopped. There was still hair on the bathroom counter from the previous guest. Even with the air conditioning being on the entire time the room felt sticky and humid. We wanted to swim but the pool was covered in leaves and what looked like styrofoam. Overall, our stay wasn’t good and we won’t be considering Hampton Inn for our next vacation.

I do not typically leave reviews. I will not be staying here again. All started with blinds not closing. . Maintenance arrived and pulled electric blinds down manually so I could sleep without the parking lot lights coming in the room and he was helpful. Phone didn’t work so I had to walk to front desk to let them know about blinds and phone not working. Front desk did call maintenance. After maintenance left I went to bathroom and found the inside of the toilet with stains inside. Found black hair on bathroom floor. I do not have black hair. Shower curtain appeared clean and new as it was twisted up like it had been changed. As I finished my shower looked down and it had numerous black mold stains on it at the bottom. I have pictures to verify all this. Sink looked as if it had black mold under rim of counter. I could see this as i walked in the bathroom. Ceiling above sink was bubbling up and stained. Most of the floors looked stained and grout was dark and dirty in bathroom and hallway with tile. Dust and dirt particles in corners of the bathroom floor. After all this it was late and I went to bed since I had driven for hours and was tired and just wanted this to be over with. Very disappointed. I used points from Amex to book this room & feel like this is nothing like I would have used that many points for. Way too many points for this dirty room. This is not what you pay to stay in at the Hampton inn’s I’ve experienced.

This hotel room itself was okay spacious. We got a king suite. Inside the shower on the ceiling, it had some mold. I wasn't happy about that. The front desk person, Tonya, was nice. She checked on us. It's not a bad hotel, but I would not stay there again. We didn't like the location.

Dee Dee was amazing and took great care of us during our stay by cleaning our room which was very well done. Our key didn’t work a few times but the front desk staff programmed it each time but that was due to a new access system. Overall it was a great stay.

Positive: We previously had a terrible experience with a competitor hotel. Once we arrived at this hotel at the front desk made sure that we had everything that we needed. Excellent customer service! She deserves a raise!! Negative: ""
