Hampton Inn NY-JFK - Hotel in Jamaica - 144-10 135th Ave, USA

Sam at the front desk was very nice and efficient. It was an easy check in and she had a nice smile. The shuttle was right on time to pick us up at Kennedy and the driver loaded all the guests bags and was very personable. We arrived to Hampton and were checked in by Sam within five minutes. The room was comfortable and clean. The shower took some time for the water to heat up but it was good for a quick rinse before bed. The complimentary breakfast was above my expectations. Portuguese sausage, cheese omelettes, everything bagels and the juices were fresh. Danny the shuttle driver was also awesome. He got us to the airport in an efficient manner and was very nice and pleasant. I would like to express my appreciation for this pleasant stay and if I ever need a place for a layover The Hampton Inn is the spot.

Michelle at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was fairly clean but bathroom could use an update. Love how close it is to the airport and the fact that shuttles go every half hour.

Tried calling the hotel before leaving SC, then when we arrived in NC for a total of 33 times, and no one ever answered. Arrive at the airport and then waited over 1 hour for the shuttle. The hotel is definitely close and is the only plus for the stay. You have to sign up for shuttle service, and by the time we arrive, it's pretty much filled up for the morning, so cab it is. Spend a little extra and stay somewhere else. Staff tries......

The rooms at the hotel were nice enough - spacious and clean with comfortable beds. However, my experience was definitely not a great one and I wouldn’t return. I was staying in a room with my 5 year old son and we were right across from the ice machine. It was so loud, every time someone went to fetch ice, it woke my son up, which was really unwelcome at 4 am in the morning. Secondly, when I went to have a shower, the large bottle of conditioner was empty which isn’t easily dealt with when you’re soaking wet. I might have forgiven these inconveniences except that when I mentioned them to the man at the front desk on departure, I didn’t even get so much as a simple sorry. He seemed largely uninterested in my bad experience and simply made a note to top up the conditioner.

The main hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The shuttle to airport is wonderful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. Housekeeping does a great job. We ate 2x at the restaurant and the food and service were mediocre. Overpriced and staff are horrible. Ordering was difficult and they forgot our dessert. You sit there for a long time waiting for food even when it's not busy.

Highly professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff. The lobby is always clean, the lounge area is always clean too and so is the bar area. The front desk and bartenders always welcoming with a smile and ready to make very positive and memorable moment during your stay. The kitchen staff always delivering your orders fresh within a timely manner. My go to place for traveling!.

Only good thing I can write is that it is close to airport and has a free shuttle which I would expect from any hotel. Rooms are dated and in need of major renovation. Bath as well and just had an overall dirty feel. Not to mention ridiculous price for a dump.

Flight was delayed and I stayed here 1 night. Service was excellent, especially our shuttle driver. Room quality is typical older Hampton Inn style but clean. Shuttle runs 24/7 every 30 minutes. They really price gouge this hotel but it does the job
