Hampton Inn New Bedford/Fairhaven - Featured Reviews (554)
This hotel is great. I would stay again. |Pros: caters to the traveler and thinks of their comforts. The bedroom was clean and roomie, TV was large and placed correctly, bathroom was different with sink area in the corner allowing for extra room in the bathroom, fridge, microwave and coffee maker all in the same area. Breakfast was good- usual fair but with some extra choices like real muffins not ones from a package! |Cons: could use more room lighting(but they have a nice light over the desk cabinet for night-time sleeping ), low water pressure (but lots of hot water).
They have just completed their renovations (7/2024). Super clean & updated! Our air conditioning was not working - India (manager on duty) did her best to accommodate us - unfortunately no rooms that would fit us were available until the next day. It wasn’t too hot overnight - and they had a fresh, clean room with working a/c in the morning. The staff is friendly & professional. Many restaurants and stores within close proximity. Definitely recommend this hotel!
We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel along I-95 in eastern Connecticut or Rhode Island or along I-195 in Massachusetts as a stopover as part of a longer drive. I looked at a ton of Trip Advisor reviews and hotel websites, and I settled on the Hampton Inn in Fairhaven because of the solid price, the good reviews, and the location (it was the furthest place east I considered). ||Bottom line: I made the right choice. I was concerned because this was the only hotel I considered that was not literally right off the highway, as we had to ride on a road for a few minutes to get to the hotel, but the ride was quick, and it was fine. The area was desolate at 9 p.m. at night. I was surprised that everything was closed. The only thing open was the mini mart at the gas station. That concerned me a little when we arrived. However, the next morning with everything open, everything was fine. We even got some stuff we needed at the Marshall's across from the hotel before we hit the road.||The hotel itself was exactly what you would expect from an Hampton Inn along a highway: Clean and comfortable. The room was large, with a separate living area with a couch and TV. The furniture was newish and in good shape. The bed was comfortable. The shower in the bathroom worked well. The breakfast was a standard Hampton Inn breakfast (eggs, bacon, a waffle maker, pastries, bread, yogurt, cereal, juice, etc.). There was a refrigerator (we used) and microwave (we did not use).||There was a pool, but we didn't use it. It looked fine, although it was a little small and kind of right in the parking lot. ||I would certainly stay here again as a stopover on a drive. It was a good place to stay for a night.
What a great stay. Travel often for baseball tournaments in the summer and have stayed at plenty of smaller Hiltons and other brands across northeast. Many are fair or below par. This hotel was terrific and really exceeded expectations. Super friendly staff that kept in touch via text messages. Super modern, clean, quiet room. Hearty, warm breakfast. Close to beaches and downtown New Bedford piers. I highly recommend. Tariq was fantastic in answering questions and checking in. Central location near tons of food (fast food, high end restaurants, shopping). Agree with previous reviewer who said this is hidden gem.
Merci !
Every staff member was super friendly and the free breakfast was so well laid out. Everything was fresh and the ladies that prepared it were so attentive if anything was needed or spilled. Would definitely come back.
Positive: The staff was extremely accomodating and the breakfasts were terrific. The rooms was perfect for our needs. Negative: No
Positive: It's located in a wooded area without much around. But little noise from traffic, however signs should be posted stated limit running and loud talking in hall ways. Negative: No daily room service and lack of electrical outlets for electronics. We travel with a computer, two tablets, two phones, hear aid, two headphones, 2 paperwhites so it was difficult to find ports.
Literally the best latte Iâve ever had! Super fun and creative menu. Friendly service. Yummy baked goods. Cool and relaxing atmosphere with lots of room to sit and relax. Love it â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
This cafe is adorable! The apple bagels are delicious and so different. The Nellie Special was the perfect caffeine boost without it being overly sweet. Nate is super friendly! I highly recommend giving them a chanceâ¦we will definitely be back!
Charming place of window charms, crystals, candles and herbs. Great christmas ornaments and angels too. Very knowledgeable staff. ðâ¤ð this place!!
This is a nice cozy place to grab a drink and food. I ordered the tres leches cupcake and it was delicious. The hot chocolate with whipped cream hit the spot for me since it is cold outside.
