Hampton Inn New Albany - Hotel in New Albany - 320 Coulter Cv, USA

The manager, Ms. Leslie, is awesome she pretty much set up our stay in New Albany herself while I was dealing with a sick kid and a grandmother that just had a stroke. She saved our Christmas by helping us through this situation turning something stressful and last minute into an easy process, with a big smile. The only complaint is when we were trying to find the hotel the entrance is hard to see at night.

A sign is needed at their driveway entrance because although the place is visible from the highway, it's very hard to find. The breakfast choices are extensive and tasty, with great staff and atmosphere. However, Our room had HVAC issues, and we couldn't turn the unit off. We were sneezing and coughing, with itchy noses and eyes. It seems the unit was not properly maintained, and we suffered with stuffy sinuses during our 4-night stay.

We had a reservation. When I got to my room it was never cleaned from previous visitor. Beds unmade, towels all over bathroom floor. I went to lobby and the clerk was nice and gave us a new room. The elevator sounds like it's about to break. All public trash cans were over flowing and needed emptied. There was even gum stuck on the wall by the elevator. It stayed that way our whole visit. I prefer to not stay here again.

I was in town for work and normally like staying at Hamptons. This stay was not great. I have a habit of checking the air filter in every hotel I stay because of sinus issues. The air filter in this one was NASTY. The shower door didn't latch, and wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. When I first got in the room, it smelled damp. After washing the filter out, leaving to go eat, and then come back, it seemed to help some. The front desk person washed my filter out, and that is the only reason for the 4 star on service.

We stayed overnight while passing through on our way home from vacation. We had a great experience. The gentleman who checked us in was courteous and helpful, as was the lady who checked us out and the gentleman who was taking care of the breakfast bar. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. We will definitely stay here next time we are passing through.

This hotel room was clean, the tv screen was very cool. The breakfast was delicious and the employees were friendly.

Light bulbs!??! Had to walk into a dark room because none of the ceiling lights worked. Please teach the young lady who was working the evening shift to not chew gum while she is talking to customers. Breakfast was the worst we ever had at a Hampton Inn. Eggs were burned and tasted horrible (like fish). Sausage was cold. Biscuits were hard as a rock. Napkins were very hard to find. The elevator sounded like it was about to fall when it rezched the 3rd floor. Carpets were stained and had old gum stuck to them. The walls were so thin we could hear people talking in the next room. We also listened to very loud I-22 traffic all night long. Pillows were worn out and lumpy.

My dad paid for the room and the wall paper was falling off of the wall in the bathroom of the room and there was a lot of hair in the swimming pool area it was the worst experience every the breakfast was not that bad but could be better
