Hampton Inn Memphis/Southaven - Hotel in Southaven - 7097 Sleepy Hollow Dr, USA

Rooms are loud. Heard every door being shut, every airplane that flew by. The bed was uncomfortable: bad mattress, bad pillows and no blanket or comforter. They literally gave you two sheets for sleeping. The water pressure was bad, the tub was dirty. Air conditioner was all over the place and could not keep constant temperature base. The front office staff was nice. I don’t remind this hotel and don’t plan to stay there again.

I arrived around 8:30pm on 3/29, checkout is today 3/30. Room was comfortable and quiet! Staff VERY friendly. I was greeted everytime I came downstairs. The lady doing the breakfast is helpful and so sweet. Really seems to love her job! Great stay! Thank you! Breakfast was great!

Stopped in for a night very nice hotel. Nice location close to restaurants and shopping. But a very busy area. Nice clean rooms. We got in our rooms then walked around the Area to do some shopping and for a place to eat . We felt very safe to be walking around this area

I reserved two rooms, one of which was supposed to be wheelchair accessible with a roll in shower. Upon check-in there was a sign posted that said the elevator was out of service. Since my room was on the 1st floor, I didn't think it was a problem. However, when I went into the room it had a tub and there was no way for me to take a shower. And of course they didn't have anyone accessible rooms. We ended up staying at the Fairfield Inn right next door. I would not recommend staying here. The rooms had an odor and not well maintained. I would not recommend this hotel especially if you are in a wheelchair. The last time I was in the area, we stayed at the Hampton Inn Downtown and had a wonderful experience.

First, the front desk, housekeeping staff, and the breakfast team were all exceptionally professional and friendly. However, management something has to be done about the overall maintenance of the hotel. I was under the impression that the hotel had gone under renovations but nothing has changed since my last stay years ago.

The staff seemed disinterested in being friendly. The elevator was out of service and they put us on the third floor the farthest possible away from the staircase. Room didn't have bar soap to wash your hands and front desk acted like that was a new Hilton thing. No recognition of diamond status. Breakfast was limited and the juice machine was out. They had juice for sale at the front counter but didn't offer those as a solution. Like many Hilton properties they haven't reinstored housekeeping unless requested. Property is in fairly good condition and has a great location but needs management attention to service levels.

This hotel is DISGUSTING!!! The shower wasn't cleaned. The floors were not cleaned. They put me in a different room, only for it to be even dirtier. The maintenance man gave me some cleaning supplies so I could try and feel comfortable for 1 night. No way of speaking to a manager until morning. I'M SO DISGUSTED!!!!! I have photos and videos of the filth. The manager contacted me and explained the circumstances. Apparently they are under new management and are working to correct all of these issues. She took my concerns very seriously. She even provided her person number to contact her. She used my photos as examples for her staff. I have faith that in due time, she will have this place turned around and back to what it should be.

If breakfast is important to you, do not stay here. First morning was watered eggs and burnt cut sausage links. Second morning was same eggs with turkey sausage patties. Rest of the stay was satisfactory. We stay at similar hotels often traveling for baseball tournaments, and this one doesn’t seem to care if you like their breakfast!
