Hampton Inn Maumelle - Featured Reviews (370)
Our last-minute stay at Hampton Inn Maumelle exceeded all expectations. Despite booking on short notice, the staff were incredibly accommodating and welcoming, the room was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was a delightful bonus that made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Hampton Inn Maumelle for anyone looking for a stress-free and comfortable stay near Little Rock. Special shoutout to the general manager, Ruth, for being communicative and easy to work with - thank you Ruth!
This hotel is beat down and in need of an upgrade. Walls, furniture and posters all scratched up. Laundry room smells like rotten eggs. Desk chair in my room literally falling apart and looks to be from the 1990’s. Front desk workers sit around and conduct private phone calls and ignore you when you walk in. Very annoying. Housekeeping very lax, one day they pushed my clothing and suit bag into the middle of the room and left it. They don’t always even make the bed! I stay in hotels weeks at a time and I expect better.
We went for the eclipse and thought this might be a good spot. It was the best choice I ever made. The young lady that checked us in was awesome, and suggested the festival at a nearby lake. We went there and made friends and enjoyed a wonderful experience. This hotel and the whole staff are excellent. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast had every choice you want. We drove 12 hours to get to Maumelle from North Carolina and loved our experience.
Affordable place - quiet area and clean rooms. They had fresh baked cookies in the lobby for guests. All the staff was very warm and welcoming. There are signs of aging but the rooms were nice and clean and you can see some renovations are happening. I really like the gym and think you have enough of what you need if you are traveling for a short time.
BED. BUGS.
Overall cleanliness/upkeep is not up to par. Just don't stay here. Front desk was kind and ended my stay early/refunded fully. Was promised 5000 bonus points on my Hilton Honors account but only received 590. Not the point, though. Clearly from previous reviews, there has been a bed bug and overall cleanliness issue for some time now. STOP LETTING PEOPLE STAY AND FIX THE ISSUE! What if we hadn't seen the one we did? What about all the other people who were there and didn't know, or those who were there after us and don't see the signs? GROSS.
Extremely outdated, cleaning services were every 4 days instead of 2 which probably helps the fact that I didn’t get bed bugs, but that rest of my team of 25 people did. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Take the time to travel the extra 15 minutes into Little Rock.
Great location. Very nice staff. Good selection for breakfast. Rooms had everything needed, items were a little dated but it all worked. Would definitely stay here again.
Chose this hotel because it has outdoor pool. April 30 weather beautiful …went to pool lock and chain on gate. Asked desk clerk and he said the city doesn’t allow them to open pool until end of may. Said I could not even sit by the pool and enjoy the weather. Called city and they said NO there is no city ordinances regulating hotel pools!! Beware if you are coming in May pool won’t be open! Nothing states that on Hilton website. Hotel needs rentavations!
Worth the price and then some! The rooms are big and really clean ( NO CARPET YAY!!) looks maybe newly renovated so there are still spots here and there that may need to be painted but NO BIG DEAL!!! The beds are really comfortable. The breakfast wa
