Hampton Inn Marion - Hotel in Marion - 1502 N Baldwin Ave, USA

Visited this Hampton Inn when I needed a place to stay when we were attending a wedding in the area. The room was quite large, clean, quiet very comfortable. The staff was very helpful in accommodating an early check-in so we could freshen up and get dressed for the wedding. The location is very convenient and accessable. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. A great place to stay in Marion Indiana.

This is a nice hotel. We stayed here as a quick stop on a trip it served as a decent location as the town of Marion is not huge. The staff was friendly and they helped with information when we asked. The breakfast was well stocked and taken care of. We liked the fact that it is served until 10 every day. It allowed us to rest a bit and actually relax. The beds were comfortable but too firm for us. Otherwise, we had no major issues with the room. Parking is not the best. The lot is small, but again, it worked. We did have a large truck and trailer blocking the entrance to the back side of the lot on our first night. There are a lot of workers using it as housing while they are in town. If I returned to Marion, I would use this hotel as it was a good value for us.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating of our group. They were very kind and handled any concerns immediately. The room and hotel carpet is yucky and should be replaced but the staff and breakfast make up for that! The breakfast had a great attendant and was pretty tasty with a variety each morning. If I go to Marion again I will stay here.

The lady at the front desk was friendly but very hard to understand as she spoke broken English. My room was well-furnished and the bed was comfortable. The shower had a lot of the previous guests’ hair stuck to the walls, so I know it wasn’t cleaned well. There was a lot of yellow and brown slime/mold starting in toe corners of the shower. The shower had soft water and a nice shower head, but the water pressure fluctuated from a fire hose to a trickle. Back and forth, back and forth. The shower fan sounded like a fleet of Chinook helicopters, so don’t use it at 6:00 am unless you want to annoy the people in the next room. The folks in the room next to mine had a belching contest at 1:00 am, so I felt no guilt in using mine.

The hot breakfast food was cold when we got downstairs for breakfast most of our stay, but the Denver omelet was delicious. We were disappointed that the pool wasn't working on our most recent trip, but the staff was very friendly and apologetic.

Employee's recently stayed here and was a pickup place for crews. That's exactly how I would describe this location, breakfast was crowded for a bit as many were preparing for work. Parking lot full with working class folks. Breakfast pretty generic. Just a ok place,no vacation stop
