Hampton Inn Lawrence - Hotel in Lawrence - 2300 W 6th St, USA

Great price. Room was clean. Bathroom had needed toiletries. Gym was basic, but had all the necessary equipment. Breakfast was more than expected with omelets, waffles, pastries and sausage, juices and coffee. There are also a variety of items you can purchase if you need a snack or forgot anything. Highly recommended.

Positive: The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The common areas like the pool are very clean. Overall the hotel is ok. I would stay here again if the rooms got cleaned a smidge better. The breakfast was really good. Negative: The room could have been cleaned better. There was what appeared to be snot wiped on the bathroom wall, right about small child height. The floors had not been swept and the areas behind the bed had cobwebs and debris, but most people don't look there.

This hotel and staff is amazing. We were greeted by name and throughout the stay. The rooms are update, and were very clean. This property is located close to Mass Street and to many shopping and food locations. I will come back!

The only person working the front desk was incompetent, lazy, and could care less about customer service. He didn't look up, didn't say hello, didn't even acknowledge my presence for 15 minutes while staring at another family's confirmation email and trying to find their reservation unsuccessfully. The least someone can do when they know they're having a problem and they're the only staff available, is to say hello and I'll be with you as soon as I can. He literally said nothing in 15 minutes to me and the only thing he said to this poor other family is," let me see that confirmation email again"........three times. I finally interrupted this politely as possible to tell him that the digital key didn't work and I need a physical room key. You would think. I asked him to comp my entire stay as put out as he was to take 20 seconds and make me a key. 30 minutes later I went back to my car for something in that poor family was still sitting there in the lobby. Waiting for him to discover something new on his computer that would allow them to get a room for the night. To top it off, the room was dirty to the point that the air blowing directly at my face in bed all night long landed me at an urgent care center 48 hours later with a raging sinus infection. The room was stagnant, smelly, and dirty. I would avoid this hotel at all costs. There are definitely better options around there in probably people that work there that appreciate having a job where customers matter.

My husband were very happy with our 2 night stay at the Hampton Inn in Lawrence this weekend. Service was friendly, the rate was reasonable, the room was clean, well maintained & hotel environment was quiet. Our room was next to elevator & we couldn’t hear a thing from it.

I would stay here again. This Hampton Inn checked the boxes for easy check-in, welcoming staff, clean, updated room. As expected with Hampton Inn, offered complimentary breakfast with adequate choices and decent coffee. Our spacious bathroom double vanity was especially nice.

Stayed here for a couple of days to visit family before heading west. Great location, 10 minutes or less to restaurants, etc, hotel is not in a busy or noisy area. Very clean, well maintained. Taylor checked us in, would ask 1-2 times daily if we needed anything. Breakfast buffet is standard Hilton fare but served hot. They were in process of replacing room TV's while we were there. Hopefully will upgrade Dish programming at the same time, not very user friendly. Note: unless you're a Kansas State fan you might want to avoid booking on home game weekends. Was told nightly rate goes to $800!

Upon a late night arrival I appreciated the quick check-in process. The gentleman at the desk was very informative of the perks. Although, I didn't use all the extras, I did notice the hours are extended past the 10PM hour which is nice. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast definitely was a perk. Bonus- checkout is at noon!
