Hampton Inn Laplace - Hotel in Laplace - 4288 U.S. Hwy 51, USA

A little dated but nice place. Check in efficient for a walk up. Staff nice and friendly. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast 6-10 am on this weekday. The usual - make your waffle, hard boiled eggs, some whole fruit, milk, yogurt, etc. Coffee basic and marginal taste IMHO. Above average fitness center for a facility of this size - kettlebells, dumbbells, a few cardio pieces, and a cable machine. Wifi a little slow - around 4 Mbps per Speedtest on my iPhone. Parking adequate. Convenient right off interstate and just a short drive from New Orleans.

Quiet, Clean, Comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great Fitness center, free parking, good breakfast and TV selection as well. Good location right off the highway and close enough to food, stores, etc. Was there a night before a cruise, and definitely was a better value to stay here about 25-30 minutes away from the port rather than staying in downtown New Orleans which would most likely require paid parking, no free breakfast, higher rate, etc. LaPlace had everything we needed for a 15-hour overnight stay.

Let me begin with the positive aspects of my visit. First, the staff is friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable of the area. Ms. Yvette is absolutely amazing!!! The accommodations are clean and modern. Each room has a refrigerator and a microwave. My ONLY issue is that on my first night, an enormous black flying bug was in my bathroom. The hotel responded quickly. My second night, a small lizard was in my bathroom. The hotel did have the room serviced by an exterminator. It is also important to note that I am profusely afraid of bugs, so needless to stay - I won’t be returning to this location. I was paranoid the entire time I was there, thinking little everything was a bug. I need a little more peace of mind.

This was a solid experience. I ended up in an excess accessibility room, but the room was spacious and comfortable. I was briefly confused by operation of the blind, but I eventually spotted the remote control on the wall. The breakfast was well prepared and fresh. When I checked out, I accidentally left my Yeti in the room, but housekeeping held onto it for me and they were able to quickly return it when I realized my mistake. Overall, a great stay.

Driving up on the property was very exciting for I didn't know they remodeled from the outside in, being greeted at the desk was very professional and prompt, the entire property has always been cleaned however the room to my surprise was so very spacious as well as the bathroom, my stay was everything I needed, to top it off, needed some fresh towels and the night audit Daria without hesitation exhanged my used towels for new with a smile and amazing hospitality skills .. I'll return & refer others as well.

Worst experience I've ever had at a Hilton property. It was my first (and last) time staying at this hotel. The rooms were clean and hotel looked recently renovated. The rooms are adjoining with tile floors, which means you can hear everything in your neighbor's room. I woke up at 3AM to my neighbor blaring their TV. I called the front desk and requested another room, which was granted; however, when I used the key issued to me to enter my new room at 4AM, I startled a poor woman awake who was already occupying the room. She or I could have been seriously injured by this property's lack of detail in accounting for their guests. I was given a full refund for my stay, but will take my money elsewhere in the future and seriously consider building loyalty with another hotel chain altogether. For those looking for a place to stay, there's a clean and updated Holiday Inn Express in the same parking lot.

Super easy to get in and out of. Not the absolute best parking if your hauling a trailer but doable. Room was exceptionally clean and nice. Breakfast was good and coffee was hot. Not much else to say. It does have a small outside pool but it was too cold to swim. There is a wendys in the same lot as well as waffle house and a circle k gas station.

Very clean, love the fact breakfast begins at 6a.m till 10a.m Beds and Pillows are very comfortable. No complaints about my stay & I Highly Recommend this Hotel
