We stayed here in room 404 on 7/27/24. |The hotel is newly renovated and still being renovated on the third floor.|Our room was good sized, had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The internet was good, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean, quiet and fresh.|Check in was great, Sade was friendly and efficient and offered some good dining options (we went with Bella's Italian it was great).|The water pressure was good, the shower very tall and the breakfast was very good.||A couple of notes, as of 7/28/24 exit 296 is closed in both directions. USE EXIT 298 to get to the hotel. |The hotel's driveway is shared with the Motel 6 next door.||We would stay here again.
The Hampton Inn in Juntion City is located off I70, but due to highway construction, we were rerouted. The hotel was located in a sketchy part of town next to a very shady Motel 8, which you had to pass to go to the only restaurant within walking distance: a McDonald's. The hotel was also under construction for its decor update. Yet the rooms were clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly, and breakfast was good with a variety of options.
We came in on a Friday night after being caught in a rain/hail storm on Interstate 70. The front desk clerks were very helpful concerning the weather. One of them asked if I would be more comfortable on the ground floor considering what we had gone through. The hotel is undergoing renovations, but there was no noise or construction debris. We would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through the area.
What a terrible experience. My sister stayed there while visiting and we chose this place simply for the pool because of the family we were visiting. No where did it state that the pool was under renovation and we were disappointed from check-in. Go up to the room and the sink is dirty (BAD). I thought it was a housekeeping issue and just cleaned it myself. Woke up in the morning and the sink was even worse. We had to use bottled water to brush our teeth. However, we were in a rush and didn't report it. We got back late because we had to go some where else for a pool and we were exhausted!!! At 1:30 am our sink literally flooded our room and woke us up. Went to the front desk and no one was there. Had to use the hall phone and she was outside smoking. Basically we should have reported it and we were lucky because there was one room left. BUT we had to pack and move our stuff with us. So in a new room at 3:00. Go to check out and we started to say something but the girl at the desk did not care! I was so upset that I walked out and asked my brother to say something. We paid the extra money to stay there for their amenities and needless to say, when you can't even brush your teeth- that is a BAD experience and no effort to return some of our money.
Edit: O forgot about the key entry. We were locked out of our room 5 times and finally they asked if we had our key by our cell phones and that de-activates them. Would have been nice to know the first time!!!
We like staying here when visiting my daughter and her family. I love that they have a jetted tub in the room. They’re hard to find in hotels these days.
This location is currently being remodeled...construction everywhere. No discount for construction.Couldn't drive through checkin portico as it was blocked by worker's vehicle at 7pm at night. Workers just hanging out at front of building.
2nd room card did not work...TV had no signal. Tried to call front desk ..but just got busy signal...meaning we had to go down to lobby for receptionist to come to room to fix Tv. We would not have stopped here if we had known this location was under remodel construction. Hot tub and pool and workout room not currently available due to remodel construction.
Was being remodeled and will be much nicer when completed. Breakfast area closed, and meeting room used temporarily. Staff did OK under circumstances.
Positive: The location Negative: Yes they were doing renovations and the staff put us on the floor right below where they were working and we were woken up very early. Also the pool was closed they need to put that in the website it was the one reason we went.
