Hampton Inn Jackson/Pearl-International Airport - Featured Reviews (475)
One word—bedbugs! I checked in here for two rooms. Mine was fine (comfortable bed, decent shower), but at 11:30 my traveling companion in a different room discovered bedbugs. After some back and forth they got moved to a bug-free room. Otherwise, the rooms were decent—clean, plenty of outlets, working air conditioning.
We reserved the 2 room suite. What we got was one large L shaped room. This was NOT 2 rooms. There were no partitions or anything. The walls are so paper thin that any water running from other rooms was so loud that we were unsure we’d be able to fall asleep. Also, we had to push hard on the room door to make sure it was closed each time. When we brought up our concerns, all we got was a sorry. Not a great look for the Hilton brand.
While staying there in March I fell in the shower due to the hotel having soft water and porcelain tubs with no slip resistant surface. I had significant damage to my face around my eye and my lip. I had a large open flap over my eye and my tooth punched through my lip. The hotel manager did check on me, but NOBODY from the hotel ownership has done anything. I filed an accident report and I have not heard anything. I now understand why there are so many ambulance chasing attorneys. I would STRONGLY suggest that you not stay here.
Thank you all so much, for keeping your hotel great.

My family and I stayed here in June. When I say just keep driving or chose another hotel, do yourself a favor and listen. This property is ran down. The room was filthy. The walls had water damage, wall patches that weren't painted. Unknown substance smeared down the wall. The nightstand was hanging off of the wall. The outside was overgrown. The staff was not friendly or accommodating. They basically run and hide when they hear the doors or elevators open. The lady that was working the morning g we checked out was not surprised of the pictures we took of our room and said she sees it all the time. This is a property management problem. I tried reaching out the the manager, Cynthia Boykin. She never returned my call or email.
Keep driving or pick another hotel.
First of all we were not notified when we booked that the area was under a boil advisory. They supplied bottled water but breakfast was meager. No juice. No coffee. No waffles. No a lot of things. This caused us to spend extra money eating elsewhere.
Second. Our room had a pocket sliding barn door for the bathroom door. It didn’t lock. Who does this in a hotel room? This was so inconvenient with a toddler. No way to keep them out of the toilet no matter if we were in it or not. Super inconvenient.
The view out our window was into the neighbors backyard behind the hotel.
Positive: Friendly staff Negative: It was an older hotel in need of some updating. While we didn¿t ask for handicap accessible accommodations we expected it to have minimal safety features such as safety bars to help get in and out of the tub. The bars available weren¿t properly placed. Negative: ""
I made a reservation last minute after a long drive and the staff were so nice , informative and helpful. The room was clean

Great location but you wonât hold a wedding reception here. As a Marriott Titanium Elite Member it is a good hotel for an overnight stay anytime. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Lots of locations to eat and very close to the I-20/I-5
We normally don't stay with HI but ended up here. It was a great visit, Sydney at the front desk was SUPER. She was like our own concierge person. We will definitely stay here again.
