Hampton Inn Huntington/Barboursville - Hotel in Barboursville - 1 Cracker Barrel Dr, USA

Overcharged, not properly cleaned, and We reserved 2 rooms for 2 nights and locked in the price. After we stayed there, they charged us a higher price. I contacted customer support and it's been weeks with no contact nor solution. I unfortunately might have to initiate a chargeback via my bank. The first room was dusty/dirty and the coffee maker was absolutely filthy on both the outside and the inside (looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months). My friend had to manually clean his own coffee maker for 10 minutes to get all the grime out of it. My room didn't have any soap in the bathroom. Also the wifi didn't work using the provided connection method. The one thing I will say is that the receptionist was very polite.

I had a double Queen room. I was able to use the app to select the rooms and locations. I choose far from the elevator to avoid the noise. The hotel was modern and updated. The lobby area was nice and check in was very easy. The beds were comfortable and the room clean. The only issue was the lack of water pressure in the shower, but nothing that major. The room has decent wifi and the TV was satellite so I lot of channels to watch. We did not have the breakfast since there was a Cracker Barrell next door.

The air conditioner worked almost too good. The shower was amazing, with the perfect hot water and the water pressure was strong and felt incredible on my aching muscles after a long day. The best part of all was the people. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. I didn't need a thing, but if I did they would have been there for me I am sure. In a nutshell, my stay was perfect! I didn't want to leave. Thank you Hampton Inn!

Our family had a wonderful stay. Rooms were clean and hotel was in a great location. We would stay again the next time we are in the area

Great location, friendly staff. The water pressure was great and lots of hot water. Clean rooms and safe parking. The only issue was the air, it didn’t kick on at all during the night. Almost like they control it from the office. Woke up sweating multiple times. BUT we will stay here again when in town for work.

We actually live in Barboursville, & my 84 yr old grandmother needed to stay in a hotel while her home bathroom was being remodeled. She ended up staying a total of 9 nights, so she really got to know some of the staff, especially the housekeepers. They went above & beyond to make sure she had everything she needed, & even brought her little goodies each day. The lady in the breakfast area fixed her up a little goodie bag of snacks to take back to her room each day. Jenny at the front desk came to the rescue when we needed to add an extra night & made sure she didn’t have to move to a different room just for the one night. Everything was kept clean & in good working order. We always have good experiences with the Hampton Inn franchise, but this place was exceptional, especially in terms of customer service!

This was a good place to stay while working in the area. It was clean and quiet, and they had a good breakfast for gluten-free as well as other options. It is conveniently located near cracker barrel and the freeway and gas station. Easy in and out.||

Clean, fairly quiet. Breakfast area was cramped and food was so-so. Wonderful staff. I'd stay here again. Cracker Barrel right next door without crossing the street.
