Hampton Inn Houston/Stafford - Hotel in Stafford - 4714 Techniplex Dr, USA

I recently had a disappointing experience at the Hampton Inn Houston/Stafford that left a lasting negative impression. As a 25-year Hilton Honors member traveling through Houston on business, I stopped by to use the restroom discreetly and greeted the front desk clerk politely. Upon returning, the clerk asked if I was a checked-in guest, and when I replied that I wasn’t, she informed me I wasn’t allowed to use the restroom unless checked in. Despite explaining my loyalty to Hilton, her attitude remained dismissive. This encounter not only reflects poorly on this location but could influence my opinion of Hilton properties overall. I’ll be sure to share this experience with colleagues who frequent the area.

The location is good for this area as you’re able to hop in and out of a major highway. The rooms and the building are aged and need some major renovations, the floors had many dips throughout under the carpet. The people working the front office went above and beyond to accommodate us even when they were short staffed. They were very kind and understanding. The breakfast lady was very friendly and helpful and she made sure everyone had what they needed and cleaned up after every patron.

I was in Houston for the weekend and I stayed here at the Hampton. I have a habit now where I always read reviews of different hotels and I have to say that some that I had read were not on the mark. The room that I stayed in was clean and it had all of the essentials that you need when you're in a hotel as far as hair shampoo, conditioner, lotion and bath soap. So it had all of those things as well as the room was clean and it absolutely smelled fresh. The breakfast bar was pretty good it had breakfast sausage potatoes, eggs you can make your own waffle if you wanted cereal as well several types of juices and Fresh fruit so it was okay for me. The service was nice and I also like the location.

I would give negative stars if I could. Checked in at night with my kids and the room we got was covered in mold and smelled like mold. Please be aware. We promptly checked out.

The staff were very supportive during our stay - coffee/hotwater/fruit were available around the clock. The hotel is across the freeway of a big shopping mall. The only complain is that the hotel is getting dated. Did I mention excellent staff? :)

Had to stay here for a night because of stupid Hurricane Beryl. Friendly staff, very accommodating. The hotel itself isn't that spectacular, and there is no on-site laundry facility. But they have AC and water, and that's truly all that matters in Texas. Thin walls and floors, though. People above me were stomping around all night; drove me mad.

I have been in this industry for a long time. The kindness, love and “Hamptonality” Ms. Joyce shows at the front desk simply reminds me of why I still love Hilton after all these years! Angel and Monica, thank you, too! Keep up the great work and this property will continue to flourish!

Me and my wife just had a terrible experience.. Marco's the hotel manager.. was very rude. There were square holes in the ceiling of the 2 and floor. Exterior.door.. are room was in poor condition.. toilet was not working. I ask. If they could change my rooms.. and they never did.. I am from California.. I was there on family emergency.. I spoke to Angel And to Markos . He gave me no compensation never change my room.. he should be fired.. bad hotel..James Clark.. I am going to report them to Hilton.. they entered my room.. without my permission They never called me.. they never change my room..DONT STAY . It ain't worth it..I Gave the 3 opportunities
