Hampton Inn Hernando - Hotel in Hernando - 2675 McIngvale Rd, USA

Great place, very friendly staff, clean rooms, great food nearby. I have stayed here frequently in the past for business and the front desk staff always treats me like I am an honored guest, very friendly, very nice. I am always disappointed when I try to make a reservation too late and they are sold out.||Highly recommended if you need a room in Hernando.

We stayed here almost 2 weeks after a death in our immediate family. I found blood on my pillow case the first night & on 1 sheet the next night (I overlooked it the first night). The room & all furniture was very dusty & there were dust balls in the bathroom floor. It needed a very good cleaning....even a mediocre one would have helped. There was no stopper in the sink the first night but one was added after we requested it. One day the washcloths were so threadbare you could see through them & we asked for replacements. The towel holder by the sink fell off the wall three different times before it was finally secured. Even tho the towels were supposed to be replaced every other day we had to ask for clean towels. The beds were not made up even tho they were supposed to be every other day. Places on all 3 floors had large bleached spots on the carpet & wallpaper was peeling off on each floor. The hotel definitely has deteriorated in quality since we first started staying there.

Feb 26th the hotel caught fire and we grabbed a few things and went on down thinking it was fine! 3 weeks later they said we could pick up our things. They have a crew there that the hotel hired to clean and instead of allowing us to get our things they were still boxing ours up when we arrived. We opened everything up in the parking lot and we found anything with any value was missing! Yes stolen! We live out of our hotels with our work and now I won’t bring anything with value now! The hotel is accommodating our stolen items but the hotel shouldn’t have to worry about a company doing this to them! Again hotel has been amazing but the ones who the company hired are nothing but a bunch of thieves! So I would find out who this company was and never use them!

I stayed here while attending and event nearby. It was a perfect stay! Clean rooms. Comfy beds and bedding. Super accommodating and friendly counter staff. Easy 5☆'s all the way around!

The room was nice but not very clean. There was a lot of hair on the bathroom floor, and it really needed a good scrubbing. There were multiple big stains on the comforter. The staff were all very nice and the complimentary breakfast was good. If the room had been clean, I would have given 5 stars.

We were really looking forward to our stay. This is the closest hotel for us to visit our friends who recently moved to Hernando. The reviews were very promising. When we pulled up, the exterior was great, our digital key worked immediately to let us in and go straight to the room. We opened the door to the room and were greeted with a strong smell of cigarettes and lysol. We went to the front desk to let them know and they were very apologetic and got us a new room. We got to the new room and the smell was fine. I go to start checking for bed bugs before getting my luggage and find this on a mattress. I was absolutely repulsed. I do not know if it is blood, vomit, or ketchup, but I left. Guest services was understanding and refunded me for my stay, which is why this review is not 1 star. I cannot stop thinking what else is not being cleaned. This was not the bathroom, it was the bed, next to where you lay your head.

We traveled for our business we booked our room and was OK with the price.. As we arrived for chec in right off there was 2 ladies behind the desk one checked us in the other lady I believe had something to do with housekeeping... by the way they were talking about checking rooms.. I'm would never stand there and talk about no employee making fun of them that's a big complaint I have with those 2 ladies... and we had a housekeeper that would clean our room as we was staying there she was super sweet so very polite and was very hard working and very helpful... THE HOUSEKEEPER NAME WAS MELISSA... WAY TO GO SO VERY PROUD OF YOU KEEP UP THE HARD WORK... BLESS MELISSA ...
