Hampton Inn Hammond - Hotel in Hammond - 401 Westin Oaks Dr, USA

As a Hilton Member I was extremely impressed with all facets of the hotel. The Checkin process was superb. Either Jean or Victoria was on the desk and very efficient and dedicated. Superb representation of the company. The room was the cleanest we have seen in a long time. Outstanding facility and staff. Breakfast was well laced put and staffed. All in all, a great place that we will return to on our many trips through Louisiana. Outstanding!

Our stay was pleasant. The staff was friendly, the location was good. It's right around the bend from a Walmart store, so if you are traveling and forgot anything you don't have to go far. There's food nearby. They have breakfast in the morning that's average. The hotel itself is pretty quiet, it's pet friendly and our room was clean. The beds and pillows are rubbish, however. The mattresses were flat and hard, the beds were bouncy. Anytime we got up or turned over, it was like a trampoline. The pillows start out fluffy but instantly go flat. I honestly believe I would have gotten a better night's sleep on the floor. If they upgraded the beds and pillows this would be a 5 star rating. Yes, sleep and comfort is that important. Especially when you drive in from a 13 hour road trip, and go back out on the same.

If you’re traveling with a baby and animals, I highly recommend this place! We have a 10 month old and I am terrified to put him on any floor. However, this place was so spotless. They went beyond my expectations! Thank you so much for having us! -the Luna family

Positive: I loved the location, the pool, the fresh cookies upon arrival, the staff. Everything was wonderful. The breakfast looked good, but I didn¿t eat it because we were busy going elsewhere. I highly recommend this place and would stay again if I had to. Negative: The only thing is the bed was a bit sunken in the middle, but we lived. Still very comfortable otherwise.

Hotel was in great shape and staff was helpful. Bfast was decent and there was a Cracker Barrel within walking distance. A word of warning, though: *do not* park your car in the far back of the parking lot! Two vehicles were broken into the night we stayed there, and they had been parked in the furthest part of the lot behind the Hampton Inn. The staff were stunned that this had happened and assured us that the hotel was in a safe area. Hopefully this was just a solitary event.

I was traveling and got into town around 1am. Thankfully they had a room available! I was able to get checked in within a few minutes. The room was very nice (even the bathroom). The hotel was quiet for the time I was there. I would absolutely recommend!

I drove all the way from Texas and arrived around 1am, too find out they canceled my room because other people wanted to check in and they didn't have anymore rooms available, yeah I was upset but what made me more upset was that the front desk lady (RACHEL) was very rude saying what is the manager supposed to do about your room being canceled when I asked speak to a manager then she goes to say how am I going to get you a room pull out a hat or something. I'm a gold member and I felt very disrespected I suggest the Hilton get rid of that trailer trash front desk lady and get somebody more professional.

The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. They have the shampoo and soaps on the walls which is very convenient. The front desk persons were all very friendly and helpful.
