Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale-Commercial Blvd. - Hotel in Tamarac - 4499 W Commercial Blvd, USA

Checked in after 10:00 PM on 1/9/24 and was greeted with a smile, a welcome and a happy face by David. He made sure I knew everything I needed to know about the property and answered all my questions. The lobby area is very clean, as are the hallways. My room is great and very clean. The shower has great pressure and can get very hot. I am extremely satisfied with my decision to stay here and not another hotel in the area.

We were greeted by Keisha at the front desk. She was extremely professional and helpful . Keisha provided all needed information for a a wonderful stay! Please keep her she is a definite access to the Hampton Inn . As a result of our experience with Keisha, the daily breakfast, and the attendants that we encountered in all areas such; as housekeeping and the breakfast area Hampton Inn in the area will be our choice upon visiting again!! Highly Highly recommend it!!

I have stayed here few times prior and have always loved my experience. Upon check-in, Archie was at the front desk. He couldn't have been any more nicer to me as I was greeted kindly. Check in was quick. Room size, cleanliness, and overall experience was good. Breakfast is good. The hotel parking lot area has gotten better with tree trimming. I believe lighting can still be improved.

Stayed in this hotel for 1 week a quick visit to the states to visit family and do some shopping. ||Hotel is very nice, nice smooth and easy check in and told us all the relevant information we needed. Room was nice and big beds were comfortable and WiFi was brilliant works great throughout the hotel and a decent speed. Used the pool and jacuzzi when weather was good that day 28 degrees. ||There’s a shopping complex literally around the corner. It’s got a big public there and other stores. There is quite a few options of food shops also. If you get the key from reception you will turn left when you leave the hotel doors walk a little bit and on the right you’ll see a gate instead of you walking all around. ||Hotel is in a good location and will definitely stay again when I return to the states to see family and do shopping.

This hotel is older but seems to have had some renovations done. Our two queen room just did not have that clean Hampton smell like other properties do upon arrival, was a little tight and the ac unit is very loud. The breakfast area is extremely small, offered typical breakfast items and had peppermint mocha coffee creamer available but no decaf coffee. Waited for about ten minutes and gave up. Felt the area was a little unsafe as the community across the street seemed rough.

We always stay at Hampton Inns when we travel. They are always clean and the staff is friendly. That was the case here as well, for the most part. We had to check in around 4 am the first night, and the clerk on duty couldn't have been nicer! She was very kind and friendly. I wish I had her name to add here. We talked about her very cool glasses. Some things to know about the location of the hotel: it's right next to a working fire station. That didn't bother us at all, as I'm from a large city, but it might be good to know for others before booking. There is also an urgent care right across the street. Luckily, we didn't need it, but having that convenience was nice. There were a few things that weren't so great. The door on the bathroom in our room didn't latch. It closed all the way, but the handle part never actually clicked, so you couldn't lock the door. The thing that was worst for us was being woken up every morning by housekeeping. I have never been to a hotel where housekeeping came before check out time. In this case, that's 11 am. The first night (when we arrived at 4 am) we were awoken by housekeeping knocking on the door at 9:40 am! Granted, we didn't put out our door sign because we didn't think that would happen. The day of check out, we asked for a late check out (12:30 pm). We had our sign hanging outside the door this time to be sure it wasn't an issue. Again, there was a knock at 10:30 am. Apparently they weren't told we were checking out late, which isn't their fault, but we told them we were after they knocked. Then they knocked several more times between 12 and 12:30. I understand their job, but I am also an adult who knows what time I need to check out. My sleep was already disrupted, and I was just getting everything ready to go when the knocks kept coming. I'd stay here again only if the housekeeping times/routines were changed.

My family and I loved this hotel and has a convenient and safe location. We stayed there for 2 nights. It is quiet, clean,and the rooms have queen size beds to accomodate 4 adults comfortably. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great and varied. We would be happy to stay again in a next visit.

The hotel itself is very nice. Must have been recently renovated BUT... I still cannot understand that Hampton Inns do not put liners in the in room trash cans. The one in the sleeping area doesn't bother me but the lack of the one in the bathroom is unsanitary, disgusting and completely unacceptable. I can only imagine what used feminine hygiene products, condoms etc. were put in it and as always with every HI that I stay in there is pathetic water pressure in the shower. The television has no Guide on it and there is no guide in the room either. Makes it difficult to watch TV when you have no idea what the stations are available. Also, I have not been to a hotel in a very long time that has no Business center or computer in the lobby for guest useage.||As said I was very disappointed in this property.
