Hampton Inn Fairmont - Hotel in Fairmont - 2121 Pleasant Valley Rd, USA

The gentleman, Scott, who checked us in was very kind, professional, and wonderful to us, especially to our special son. He informed us that he had just been promoted. We wish him the best! Our room was clean yet it was apparent that Hilton had obtained this as an older property.

The staff all were friendly and helpful. We spent 3 nights and were happy with our room. Beds were comfy and the AC wasn’t loud and annoying like in some hotels. I want to make special mention of the young woman who maintained the breakfast area - she was very friendly and kept things stocked - I felt like she took pride in her work. We would stay here again!

Good place to stay, usual Hampton Inn amenities, excellent breakfast and friendly efficient staff. Internet connection a bit stogy, but that may be the community and not the hotel. Took the doggy and no problem. Handy location. A popular place accommodating a reunion. No Problem!

COLLEGE PARENTS READ!!!! This is based on my request to cancel reservation and the treatment I received and not retaliation. We had to cancel the reservation the morning of the day we stay. I spoke with a very rude person named Scott (Rude because of his sarcastic tone of voice and zero compassion.). I explained our situation and said I understand if there is a small fee but he said they charge the whole night regardless and if he did it for me he would have to do it for everybody. (Imagine his tone of voice being better than you.), I asked for corporate office and he said they are not corporate. He refused to give the name of the owners/company who owned it. I asked for their number and he sends me to customer service without telling me it was just CORPORATE customer service. The lady I spoke to was very friendly and tried to be compassionate about it. She had to call the hotel and spoke to guess who?, yes, Scott. Of course he tells her no. I called back and asked for the owners number and once again he simply said “we don’t give that”?! If service was that bad over the phone an you imagine staying there. I’m not saying Hilton as a while is bad but this hotel I would consider looking elsewhere. Compassion and understanding in that tour of business is a must and they definitely lack that. I will be filing a BBB complaint and this review solely for the purpose of knowing what to expect from that hotel in general. We will be looking for another place in that area.

This hotel was good for an overnight stay, and had great service. That stated the room needed maintenance, and the bathroom needed a good scrub, especially the shower. On the outside the trash was overflowing, and the lack of ground maintenance was obvious. Easy items to correct

I enjoyed my usual great stay.  Comfortable bed, quiet room, great breakfast and friendly staff.  I was disappointed to find they had replaced the recumbent bike with a Peloton (due to a requirement from Hilton Corp).  I have a bad knee and need a recumbent bike.  Message to Hilton Corp: please allow this location to add a recumbent bike to their  Fitness Center.  If the recumbent bike is not added, I will choose a different hotel for my semi-annual visits to West Virginia.

This property is located just off the Interstate, making it easy to access from either direction. Bed was quite comfy for a good sleep while traveling through the area. As usual, the Hampton Inn breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We searched and searched but were unable to find the pen and notepad in the room, and that made it difficult when we needed to write something.

Great hotel. It was clean, the room was clean. We had two double beds that were comfortable. The pool was smaller and there is no hot tub. There is breakfast here and it is included in your room fee. The breakfast had so many things to choose from! The other comments about the breakfast being not edible I don't know what they are talking about. I would go here again.
