Hampton Inn Elmira/Horseheads - Featured Reviews (561)
We stopped for one night on our way back to Michigan from Montreal. The room was very clean, had recently been updated with new carpet, and a refreshed bathroom. The air conditioner worked great, the two queen beds were very comfortable, linens were higher end, there was plenty of parking and the breakfast was ample. They offered 4 kinds of cereal, 3 kinds of juice, yogurt, make your own waffle with two flavors, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, bagels, English muffins, several kinds of bread, oatmeal, milk, fresh fruit, and a separate coffee bar. Too bad the price was almost $200.00 with an AARP discount and tax added.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The a/c didn't work in the first room we were assigned, but the clerk was quick to move us just a few doors down, which we appreciated. The pool and hot tub area were nice. The breakfast options were good, but staff didn't keep the oatmeal/ waffle toppings stocked. This is a really good and reasonably priced hotel.
I don’t know how old this Hampton Inn actually is, but the furnishings in the pictures made me expect that it would look older. Once I got there though, I realized that was more style than anything else as everything in the room was in good condition and worked well. The property was clean, the staff pleasant, and breakfast was typical for a Hampton Inn. A nice feature was that each of the queen beds in my room had four pillows. Would stay here again if in the area.
Very disappointed in the level of customer service. I spend over 225 nights a year at Hilton properties. I won’t be staying here again. I hope the owner of the property finds better management/front desk employees.
We booked a last minute stay here 2 days before our arrival. We got tickets to see The Cher Show at the Clemens Theater in Elmira...and this was really the better hotel to stay at, rather than stay in Elmira proper.|We were greeted by the ever perky, friendly, and helpful Front Desk agent Laurie. She gave us some suggestions for the area, and we checked in easily.|We were located in room 424-that we had chosen the day before on the app. The room was super clean. It was a bit dark, and dated-but nothing was worn. The TV was rather small given the size of the room, but worked fine. There was an extra blanket in the closet-very appreciated. The shower was powerful and hot the next morning.|Breakfast was great, with plenty of options. We used the hot tub in the pool room. We were the only ones in there, so super quiet! The pool was cooler than I would have liked-but I am definitely more of a hot tub person anyway.|We would recommend a stay at this hotel for anything in the Elmira area.
Positive: "" Negative: We booked the room because of the pool and hot tub. Out second night they were out of order and they wouldn't give us any sort of comp even thought it says 100% satisfaction guaranteed
The staff here is super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We stayed here while visiting family that live nearby and plan to stay here, during our next visit. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. We were traveling with our dog and appreciated the designated pet relief areas that were right outside the back entrance of the hotel. Our dog also fell in love with the front desk staff, who happily offered dog treats and belly rubs every time he walked thru the lobby.
Check in on app was easy and chose my room and received electronic key quickly. Arrived at hotel and no one was behind the desk but we just went to our room and key worked easily. Room was clean but dark decor - rugs and wall. Made the room feel dated. But all was good. Breakfast was slim but clean and fresh. Attendant said hello and was friendly and helpful during breakfast.
I needed a place for an overnight close to the airport and this filled the bill. The beds are comfy and the room was clean. My flight was very early, so I didn't get to sample breakfast, but it IS offered. Staff was friendly and offered quality sugge
This was our homebase while touring all of the fall sites in 2022. It was perfect and one of the best and cleanest Hilton Garden Inn's that I've stayed at. I would recommend this to anyone. The only negative to this location was that there was no
One of the local favorites..fresh ingredients is the key to their success. The people over there are also very friendly. The food quantity is really good. Affordable prices for the quantity and quality. Upgrade to the whole sub and share between two
We were looking for an early breakfast and stumbled on this historic diner. The food was delicious, portions large, service outstanding and the atmosphere was fun and lively between the staff and locals. What a rare treat.
I ordered a meal that I had mixed feelings on. I didn't like what I got. The waitress wanted to make it right. She was doing everything she could to make it right. I told her "I am the one who selected the meal and told her thank you for your great
If you are looking for a classic diner experience, look no further than Sugar and Spice. Sugar and Spice feels like home and everyone on the staff is very friendly. The food is exceptional and they will keep your coffee mug filled!
A family owned diner serving Chinese/American food. Service is very good! We got the crab rangoon, hot and sour soup, general tsos chicken, and pork fried rice. Everything was delicious, and the price is great. Highly recommended!
The food was over the top delicious. Excellent quality too! The brussel sprouts were roasted perfectly. This was my granddaughters first time there and she says this will be her first pick from now on when we are in the area. Every person we encounte
This plaza offers a variety. There is an insurance agent, a vet, a pharmacy, a grocery store, a couple of restaurants (Pizza shop and bagel shop). Easily accessible, and there is always parking.
This meal was fantastic! Eggplant parmesan and seafood diavablo. Sauce was delicious and piping hot. Pasta cooked perfectly. The server was cheerful and friendly. Too bad I was only passing through town. I want to try lots of menu items. I'll be bac
I haven't been to an Outback in a while, and this definitely renewed my interest in this restaurant chain. Their Tasmanian chili, which had no beans, contained steak pieces and was definitely worth the price. It was delicious! Their Strawberry salad
