Positive: Staff was friendly. Room was adequate. Negative: I have stayed at Hilton properties before and I did not think this Hampton met that expectation. It was not any one thing and as I indicated the staff was nice and the room was fine, but it may just be the expectation of El Dorado, AR.
Stayed here for a few weeks with our 2 kids (my husband was working at the plant). The hotel was very clean and the continental breakfast is great, we ate it pretty much everyday day. Any issues that arose they were quick to handle. Canyon at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating while keeping a smile on his face. Ms. May the housekeeper was also very accommodating and flexible with us. All of the employees were very friendly. The pool was clean but wish it was a little cooler in this heat, it’s pretty warm. For most of the days we were the only ones that even used the pool so we enjoyed the privacy! It’s close to town. The gym was closed but they have a partnership with the huge gym in town that has an indoor pool and kid care or the Candlewood gym is available. Definitely recommend for families!
Highly recommend this hotel when staying in Southwest AR. Great hospitality, Canyon, the receptionist was very accommodating, welcoming and personable. The cleaning service was also great. Their fitness center was under renovation, but they offer a couple of alternatives including free access to a fitness center nearby.
I checked in on 4/23/24 and was informed that the gym was closed, but I could walk over to the Candlewood Suites and use theirs. I get to my room and my TV isn’t working. The young lady who worked the front desk was lovely and promptly came up to fix it. I turn back my sheets and find a long black strand of hair under the sheet. It made me wonder if they changed sheets from the last customer. I uncomfortably slept on top of the sheets. The refrigerator also does not get cold. This was not my best stay at a Hilton brand. If I ever need to come back this way, would not stay at this hotel. The young woman who worked the front desk was really pleasant and had a great attitude. If not for her, the rating would be 2 stars.
clean updated hotel - what someone would expect from a Hampton Inn (like in the days before Covid). Check-in clerk was helpful and so friendly. seriously, like easily one of the top 3 places ive stayed in the last several years. Lobby and rooms were modern and clean. Normally I deduct 1/2 star for this irritating trend of soaps mounted to the wall, but everything else was a pleasant surprise, ill overlook. for a hotel off the beaten path in rural AR, excellent choice. and not far from downtown El Dorado, which has a surprising number of restaurants and shops.
went here with some friends and stayed on a floor that had no working ice machines. after going to the local applebees for margs and subpar service, we quickly hurried back to the hotel to use the bathroom facilities to evacuate our bowels. the hotel was nice, workers were pleasant, room was clean, sheets were clean, but the bathroom will not be clean after we were done with applebees in el dorado, arkansas. as my friend was shutting the bathroom “door” to drop off the browns at the super bowl, we noticed that the “door” was actually a sliding contraption that had about a 2 inch gap (pic attached). the smell was impossible to ignore as my friend prayed to our lord jesus christ while sitting on the porcelain throne. as I could not take the smell and sounds anymore, I decided to go take a walk and absorb some good ol arkansas air. on the way out to the lobby, I wanted some ice in my drink however, the ice machine did not work. oh well. if you are hoping for some bathroom privacy, do not go here. however, if you want to get to know your friends’ bowel movements, go here. workers were nice though and checkout/in was a breeze.
A mix up at the Candlewood led us to the Hampton Inn. I was not happy at first with the mix up, but the stay was nice, rooms were good, and food was delicious. Ramon turned our trip around and helped us when we left. Thank you!
I tried to get a room here in eldorado just for some relaxing time and the front desk told me that I couldn’t get a room since I live here in town. Don’t give room to locals was her exact word. So I drove across the street to comfort inn and got a very nice clean room I recommend comfort inn hotel any day over Hampton inn

I believe the friendliest people in El Dorado work at the Country Inn & Suites. Super friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is the best I've ever had at a hotel.
Just stopped by to ask some questions while I was at the gym. They said they have some good meal replacement smoothies and serve lunch too. I don't know how anything tastes and I forgot to ask the prices. Maybe I should have taken a to go menu....
Good ol' home cookin' and they got the mustard greens right! Pork cutlet, crispy and just right gave me joy. Hot water corn bread wansth icing on the cake! Pick up only is unfortunate but it's worth the discipline to drive home and not sneak in the p
Enjoyed a very delicious lunch today in Norphlet, Arkansas at Cafe 1891. Such a quaint and friendly cafe. Everyone greeted us with big smiles and welcomed us very much to the cafe. Me and my wife enjoyed our lunch tremendously. We will definitely g
This is one of the many places one would not expect to find in a small town. It's free for all over 55 years. They have classes for beginners, experienced & funniest, line dancing for beginners. The machines are in excellent condition & there's some
Went there for the first time today. Service was good, we were seated promptly and our waitress was courteous and prompt. I had the fried cactus with steak chicken and shrimp served in a bowl that appeared to be made of lava and it was just that hot,
I quickly made a u-turn and arrived at Johnny B's, 211 S West Ave, El Dorado, AR. As I salivated over the Fruit Sampler Waffle, I told myself I was eating healthy fruits such as bananas, peaches, strawberries, and blueberries. Although I didn'
