My stay (July 3rd through July 5th) was a restful and relaxing experience. My room was very clean and comfortable. My room passed my white glove test which is very, very rare post Covid when so many hotels are cutting corners. The bed, the pillows, the shower head and water pressure were excellent. The staff were very friendly and professional. The checking in and out process was very easy. The hotel is modern and clean. It was a fully booked hotel yet very quiet. The pantry area was well stocked and maintained. We slept in and needed more towels amongst other things and there were no issues with getting the necessary items. With only a short 15 minute drive to AC, this is a great spot to be close by but still away from all of the noise and crowds. I wound definitely recommend and return.
As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I like to stay at different properties across the Hilton portfolio. A visit to the Atlantic City area brought me to this hotel, which I stayed at on a weekday the last week of June. ||Everything worked well, from the online reservation to the check-in and room selection the day before arrival. When I got there, I went directly to my room since I had the Digital Key. I only had to visit the desk to pickup my obligatory bottles of water.||The room was ample sized for my needs, and comfortable. Note that I did not use the word clean. I wonder if it's normal that housekeeping would leave the trash from the last guest to use the room still in the waste basket. WiFi, TV, and climate control worked fine.||Other than that, the bathroom was clean and had plenty of counter space. No issues with hot water. ||Breakfast was good and filling, no complaints there.
The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was ready and clean with a nice surprise my name on the TV welcomed me. Great price for only being 15 minutes away from the shore Ocean City boardwalk and Atlantic Ocean.
There was one just one very uncomfortable chair in the room without back support. There was two of us there, I had to get my beach chair from my car so we both can sit. There was NO lighting in the room. We had to run the hot water for about 5 min just to have hot water. There was a sign in the bathroom that stated. " For your comfort, housekeeping services are provided every other day during your stay." Witch they did not do! We checked in on Monday so housekeeping should have been done on Wednesday. We went out all day on Wednesday got back and we were getting ready to get in the shower when there was a knock on the door at 3:08pm it was housekeeping, so we refused. That should have been done earlier during the day. All in all, it was not a good stay.
I’m a diamond guest and have stayed in many Hilton hotels. Today I encountered one of the rudest employees, Alisa. I arrived at the hotel for a wedding (a room block) after a long drive. She didn’t even say hi how are you she just said we have no rooms. I didn’t expect a room but thought I’d at least say I’m there. Never had an experience like this. She needs some serious customer service training. This is my third bad Hilton experience in a row. NO MORE
I stayed at this property on a short trip to the area, and I was pleased with its value, location, and cleanliness. This Hampton has been updated inside and had comfortable beds, plenty of outlets and technology, and good storage space. There is a pool but I didn't get to it, and the breakfast was standard fare but tasty and everything I needed. The property is only about 15-20 minutes from Atlantic City sites and very close to shopping and dining strip malls. |My only issue with this property is that there's a lot (too much?) of water pressure in the bathroom and I felt like I was always getting water all over the floor and counters, and the floor tiles felt slimy from being wet often. This isn't terrible, but slightly annoying at times. |Overall, though, I liked the value and location of this Hampton and would consider staying here again.
If you suffer from asthma and allergies this is NOT the hotel for you. As soon as you walk into the hotel there is a strong deodorizer all on the first floor. The elevator smelled like bad foot odor. We were on the second floor, again the same strong deodorizer. Walked into the room It was clean, but the Sheets smelled like chemicals. There was a stain on the living room floor. The AC in the bedroom turned to high fan and was blowing the chemical smell towards me while sleeping. I got 3 hours sleep and woke up choking with asthma. I ended up sleeping in my car for 2 hours. Then checked out. The location is great, nice staff, poor hotel. I hope this helps for asthma and allergy suffers.
Words cannot express the great customer service received upon arrival and duration of stay! Woodrow greeted me and my family with a smile and a pleasant attitude.
