Hampton Inn Eden - Hotel in Eden - 724 S Van Buren Rd, USA

I had to fly in on a whim for a funeral I arrived exhausted and went down the dirty dated hall to my over priced dated room only to find that it sounded like a construction crew was drilling in the walls next door. I asked for another room and was reassigned to a room on the bottom floor (evidently they are remodeling and staying open and still charging premium rates.). I could still hear all the very load sounds in this new room. Evidently the entire hotel is shaking from the noise. Exhausted and defeated I opted to just stay in the second room. Went to bath and the light was nonstop flickering in the bathroom and never stopped. When I finished my strobe light bath I walked barefoot on the floor only to find the entire floor was damp. After getting very little sleep ( walls are paper thin and guest simply being guest doors closing etc kept me up.) I went to breakfast where there wasn’t much to pick from and the food was mostly empty. Overall I would rather sleep in a tent. All for the rock bottom price of 182.00 a night after taxes and fees.

The Hampton Inn in Eden is by far the best accommodations in Eden. But this stay the staff took the show with their excellent customer service. In particular Ms. Clara, Ryan, and Ms. Audrey were extremely hospitable and accommodating to my family. Ms. Audrey was very kind and accommodating to my little one during breakfast. I appreciated her warm and welcoming spirit. Ms. Clara going out of your way to get items that weren’t in the fridge. If you are staying for less than 4 nights, you will have to alert the front desk staff that you want your room freshened up daily. But they got it done when I asked. Thanks Ryan for your diligence during my stay! And not having to rush at checkout because checkout it’s at 12pm, you just can’t beat it.

Check in was smooth and friendly. Hotel is in a suburban area outside Greensboro in an area with gas stations, restaurants and shops. Bed was very comfortable. Pool looked nice but we didn't stay long enough to try it. We walked to the Mexican restaurant next door for dinner and drinks.

No room service available. Lobby does have snacks & drinks. Ice & coke machines on 2nd floor north end. Great Continental breakfast, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, toast, pancakes, or waffles. I think there was some fruit(s). I never think to get photographs!

Positive: The staff was nice - each time I left they had to reset my key and did so with no complaints Negative: I paid extra for a king suite with a spa tub - it had a spa tub but it was the same size as a normal run with a few jets - and the area around the drain was stained badly black so I only showered there. The bed was comfy but the pillows were not .

This hotel had everything we needed..also friendly staff and great customer service. Ms. Clara Dillard and Ryan went the extra mile and made sure we had what we needed for the last 3 visits here. Clara and Ryan deserve recognition!!

The whole staff were great. The front desk, custodian, and breakfast preparation lady were so polite and courteous. They made staying here so much better.

The rooms were clean and the hotel was at a low 3 start level. It would have gotten a 4 if it had decent Internet. I'm telling you if you want to do anything other than checking your email don't stay because the Internet is the worst I've seen in years and I usually stay in a few hotels per year for vacation. YouTube and Netflix at decent quality are a no go. Front desk girl was not very knowledgeable or interested in helping me with my stay other than booking me. So I'd give her an ok as well.
