Hampton Inn Dublin - Featured Reviews (615)
We stay mostly at Hampton Inns and this is by far one of the best. The hotel is clean, modern, quiet and conveniently located. The staff was great. Robert checked us in and was friendly, professional and went out of his way to be helpful. When we brought in the luggage cart he helped us with the cart and doors to the elevator and told us just to dial 0 and he’d retrieve the cart. We’ve never been offered that before! The breakfast was one of the better for Hampton and the lady in charge, Linda, was so just super!
Typical Hilton hotel. Front desk clerk was awesome. We checked in late and she still seemed like she was happy to see us. Gave us a first floor room, which was awesome because I have a special needs kiddo. Room was clean and smelled nice. Internet was stable. Hot water stayed hot.
We stayed here for an extended weekend with our pup, and it was great. The staff are all so friendly. The rooms were very clean and recently remodeled. The breakfast was substantial each morning, and the hotel is within walking distance to two restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.
So I was born in Virginia and still have family here. This will become relevant momentarily as I do not want you to think I am picking on the south. Customer service here was good. Location was good. Very good hot water and internet. But . . . I stay in roughly 100 hotels a year, roughly 1000 in the past ten, and so I have a vast point of comparison. Also, southern building codes generally are more lax. You are more apt in the south to stay in hotels that look like structures but in reality are cardboard in many respects. Built first and foremost to maximize someone's profit who also can get away with it. You will note this, among other ways, as you experience the people next to and below you. In fairness, most "new" hotels now are built cheaply wherever they are located, although I not sure how new this hotel is. Further, based on the few cars in the parking lot on a Sunday night, and in fact the parking lots of all the hotels here looked pretty sparse, why would guest be stacked right next to each other in room after room except for wishing to accomodate housekeeping in the extreme? Also was a bit puzzled to be asked to sign a document stating that I had no animals, which has not been remotely the norm in my experience, and then watch a younger couple come in with a smaller dog shortly afterward. I do animal law as a profession and so I do not even want to hear about how this particular dog was some form of "service animal." It was not. Furthermore, as an aside or not, a business has the legal right to ask if a purported service animal has been PROFESSIONALLY trained to treat a RECOGNIZED condition. Usually also animals, for several reasons, are kept on the first floor of hotels. That did not appear to be the case in this instance as the couple rode up the elevator somewhere. The surroundings of this hotel are nice, especially for essentially a roadside location.
Upon arrival the girl front desk, girl attitude can't remember her name with very nonchalant and like she was annoyed with us. We walked in the room, and it smelled like sewer. Called the front desk, they said they would send someone up and then immediately call back up and said they found another room. So I went downstairs and asked the girl, have they been having that problem? And they said, no I knew that was a lie because the maintenance man immediately came back up. I didn't like the front desk girls attitude. I would not stay here again.
Always a pleasure when we stay here. Employees are always pleasant and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast has a great selection as well. Sausage gravy to oatmeal to waffles and fruit. We always love it.
Very disappointed!!! When i went to check in, my room wasnt ready. After being told to wait 30 minutes, over an hour later, my room was finally ready. I get in the room and start looking around and the room was disgusting. Hair EVERYWHERE, old food crumbs and what looked like nail.clippings on the floor, dirt spots on the bathroom floor, didnt look like anything had been dusted in ages, the inside of the toilet wasnt cleaned, it was horrible. On top of that, the toilet leaked and there were bugs found in the bathroom and on the floor of the room. Then when i got my receipt, i noticed my military discount wasnt applied.
Very disappointed. Asked for beds to be made...one day missed. Lighting fine in bathroom, really bad in rest of the room. Commode had trouble flushing. Not very clean. Had to find an ironing board to put our suitcases on...no rack or ironing board in our room. Other issues. Over priced.|.
We were referred to this restaurant by a friend of my husband's. It is tucked in between a gas station and a fitness center. The owners are twins, and they are both very nice gentlemen. The food was fresh and hot. We got a calzone and a couple of
