Hilton brand managers should consider a different name for aging Hampton Inns, like this one. Room finishes were dated, peeling and had the patina of a well-used hotel room. Granted, the price was lower than usual, but call it something different. The front end manager's two large-ish dogs had FULL run of the lobby and under the canopy. Friendly dogs, and we like dogs, but minimally they should have been constrained, or better yet - the manager should not bring her dogs to work. She made a token apology for them and their behavior, but made no attempts to constrain them. To her credit, the manager was nice, and tried to be helpful, but the dogs..... Weird. Breakfast was, eh. The oatmeal looked like water with oats in it. I had a yogurt (thank you for not getting sugar free) and a cup of coffee. The main course of eggs/meat looked highly processed and brimming with sodium. Compared to the many other Hampton's Ive stayed at, this breakfast was the worst I've seen. Overall, the location feels like a truck stop and not a business/leisure location.
Worst Hampton ever stayed at. Our company uses Hilton brands exclusively and this was worst yet. For 190.00 a night you would expect better service and rooms. Where to start....there was NEVER anyone at front desk. In the early AM before breakfast time there was not any fresh hot coffee in lobby. It was cold and stale. Carpet in hallways was loose and noticeably dirty. Guest common bathroom on bottom floor was horrific. Wall paper coming off walls and terrible smell. My room was decent, the furniture finish was peeling from all items. The toilet was very noisy flush. Hot water was none existant. Maybe 2 mins worth at best and progressively got colder. The worse part was the tub. I felt sorry for guests under my room the floor under tub was noisy to say the least and scary. Some in our 9 guest party complained of the air conditioners not working. This Hampton needs help.
I stayed there abought two months ago and I was very happy with my experience at this hotel. I booked through Priceline and was planning on bringing my dog with me I wanted to make sure he would be allowed there and they said yes but there was an pet fee that would be charged at check in which I totally understood. So when I arrived to check in we were greeted by a gentleman I wish I could remember his name but he was very nice and even waived the pet for me which I was not expecting but very happy he did so nice almost made me cry because it was a long drive so really appreciated that. Overall all the staff there was very friendly, room was nice I have no complaints and if I come back I will book with them again!
This hotel should not be named Hampton, that’s for sure. The rooms are dirty and dated. The morning staff is fine but both nights we stayed there were late check ins lined up in the lobby with no one anywhere to be found to check them in. They have a phone that says call for service, I witnessed 6 different guests wait for well over 30 minutes without one member of the staff so much as passing by. I don’t know how you can run a hotel with no one at the front desk. The only reason I stayed here was because they are pet friendly and my pet is important, however, this hotel needs some updating and cleaning and a staff that is present in the evenings, a note to the owner if you are paying a front desk person, they are robbing you blind.
Typical Hampton Inn. As a 20+ year Honors Member, I have been to hundreds of Hamptons. You know what you are getting. Clean rooms, adequate breakfast. The only disappointing things were the check in staff were neither warm nor welcoming. They also did not have Diamond Reserved parking. Bummer.
Staff was nice but very frustrating these location doesn't work well with digital keys, places needs updates, bed was not comfy at all, pillows sucked and AC kept kicking on and off would not cool down the room
Positive: "" Negative: My curtains were half torn down, the room smelled like urine, and the TV console looked as if it was chewed on. Overall, it felt very dirty
Positive: It was average or below average for Hampton Inn. Negative: The front desk manager had her two dogs walking around lobby and outside entrance without leach. Then saw dogs roaming around breakfast buffet. Pillows were flat. Did not get any room service. The breakfast was sub par. Train whistle and horn all night! Negative: ""
