Hampton Inn Denver-North/Thornton - Hotel in Thornton - 243 E 120th Ave, USA

Rooms were very clean, which has not been the case at other hotels I have stayed at recently. Breakfast was standard hotel food. Not great but free and fast. Needed some toiletries that I forgot. Front desk gave me everything I needed. They were very friendly.

I stayed here for a week visiting my family. I did not have a happy experience. When we first entered the hotel room, the room was had bug. Then I saw another one two days later. The hallway smelled like marijuana. The hotel has a no smoking policy. This morning, the was trash by the microwave in the room from the previous resident. As they did not give us a sheet for our bed. I have stayed at Hampton Inn in different states but this is the far worst. I will never stay here again!

Currently undergoing remodel floors 2 and 3, strong odor of carpet glue to the other floors. The room is dated and very, very basic. Carpeting dirty in room and hallway. I'm room it is obvious that furniture is not moved when vacuumed by the dust build up on carpet in some areas. Night stands made of compressed wood with moisture bubbling damage on tops. Toilet small with crooked seat. Small dorm fridge with no freezer compartment (goodbye popsicles😐). Small microwave and super small 1 cup coffee maker. Iron board but no iron. Definitely not a Hampton Inn standard. Staff very friendly.

Fabulous place!! Staff was so accommodating! Rooms were clean and updated. Indoor pool and hot tub were very nice, and relaxing. Breakfast had many options. Will definitely stay here again!

Nice people, but room smelled like an ashtray and no others available, so we had to move hotels. They were ok with letting us out of our reservation. We usually love Hampton’s....but this one needs an upgrade!

We booked a room for one night. We went to the room only to find it smelled stale and of cigarettes. We called the front desk and they promptly and courteosly gave us a better room. We slept comfortably. The breakfast was disappointing, consisting of muffins and scrambled eggs mixed with sausage. I didn't waste my time. The coffee was delicious and there was a variety of hot teas to choose from.

We have stayed at multiple different Hampton Inn properties in the past, and had actually had a good experience here at this property a couple of years ago. We, typically stay within the Hilton family, and this was by far our worst experience with a hotel..anywhere...ever. from the start our stay was clearly demonstrating this hotel does not take pride in itself, and do not go here hoping for hospitality. We waited nearly ten minutes for someone to check us in, and actually had to call the main number from our mobile phone in order to finally get an attendant to give us our keys. The hotel is borderline unclean, and the carpets are definitely in need of replacement. Our pull out sofa bed didn't have any sheets on it, and we had to go down to the front desk to get linens, as they were not kept in the room. The sheet "set" that I was given turned out to only have one sheet in it, so had to go back down stairs again. On our second night here, as we were about to go to fall asleep, the door to our room was abruptly opened by another guest who had just checked in, and was told that it was his room. Luckily, we had the safety latch in place. When I called down to the attendant, he suggested that it wasn't his fault since the keys were coded earlier in the day. He did make it clear however, that this was why they recommended using the safety latch all the time. We didn't feel safe or secure after that event, so checked out early the next morning. The manager didn't even have the courtesy to call us the following day after we complained to the front desk. Definitely won't stay here again.

This has been my go-to spot whenever I travel to Denver for work. However lately it seems like some of the rooms are getting a little bit older and due for a renovation. Service is still great. Location is still great. Just the hotel itself is a little bit older.
