Hampton Inn Delray Beach - Featured Reviews (120)
After much research of budget-friendly hotels in Delray Beach, and previously having been satisfied with out stays at other Hampton Inn hotels, we selected this hotel for our vacation accommodations. The hotel's location was very convenient, being walking-distance to the beach, shopping, and restaurants.
However, it turned out to be a mixed experience, which I will explain below.
Like all Hampton Inns, the complimentary breakfast was welcome and satisfying. Fresh juice, coffee, waffles, eggs, and other items helped us get started each day. We are grateful for the staff that maintained this service.
After paying in advance for parking at the hotel for our week-long stay, we arrived to learn that only valet parking was available, and that electronic messages had to be sent to the valet each time the car was needed. Additionally, after each and every interaction with the valet service, I received a "friendly" automated text message reminding me to financially recognize the "hustling" and "careful" efforts of the valet. Essentially, any guest who pays in advance for parking ends up paying twice for the same parking. Clearly, this is a corporate decision and nothing more than an obvious money-grab. If you have valet parking and already charge for that parking, have the decency to pay your valets a better wage so that guests can be treated better and do not feel put-upon.
This indignancy, however, was offset by the absolutely professional and exceedingly competent and friendly valets, managed by Lukas and supervised by Henry. The runners - Hector, Tate, Devin, and Cali - also deserve credit for their hard work and courtesy.
Although we had pleasant interactions with the Housekeeping staff, their efforts left us wanting better service. Our room was never vacuumed during our week-long stay, and our trash cans rarely emptied, which we were left to do ourselves. The bed linen service was done every other day, with the off days being the days the bathroom was supposed to be cleaned.
Upon arrival, we had no washcloths, which apparently must be requested specially. We never knew whether we would have enough towels, as when dirty towels were removed, the same number of fresh ones were not necessarily replaced. Tissue boxes and toilet paper similarly were treated like treasure, and only replaced when we asked the front desk personnel (who always quickly responded to our requests and also were exceedingly helpful with every inquiry).
Our room had an ant infestation, which we reported to no avail. Each morning, we awoke to a new large population of ants near the sink, coffee maker, and refrigerator.
As previously stated, our stay was a mixed experience. Fixing this hotel's flaws, while keeping its excellent highlights, would go a long way towards encouraging return business.
Stayed here for a work visit and it was perfect. The valet was the most remarkable with this experience my battery died and Hector and Lukas left the car upfront so I did not have to go down to the garage and we’re so helpful everytime to jump it! Also the rooms are spacious and clean. Will definitely be back!
Excellent experience at this new property. Perfectly cleaned rooms that smelled fresh & welcoming and a great lobby. Service was wonderful and you can tell the team really cares about ensuring the hotel guests feel welcomed. The GM Michael G is truly focused on ensuring his team makes each guest feel valued & cared for. We loved our room on the 2nd floor at the end of the hall, super quiet! Great location within walking distance of the Ave. Def look at booking this hotel when you’re in Delray!
Had a good stay at the Hampton Delray Beach. Location was excellent. Area is highly walkable and close to plenty of restaurants and night life. Also close to some interesting African American historic sites.
Overall our stay went well. The staff is professional and responsive. I do think, however, that the staff for room maintenance can pay just a little more attention to details. When they replaced our towels they did not replace the wash cloths and when we asked for more it seemed as if they had to ration out the washcloths. They also missed that we were down to about half of one toilet paper roll so we had to ask for that, and the shower and sink soaps were very low. Otherwise they did a good job of cleaning the room.
The person I want to give a 5 out of 5 to is the valet, Henry. He was very professional, attentive and hospitable during our stay. Every morning he greeted my family and me with a smile and GREAT attitude and always went above and beyond when he brought us our car. He is a true gem and I hope he is recognized by management for his stellar approach to his job. We were happy to tip him everyday.
Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for anyone seeking to stay in the Delray Beach area.
June 4 &5 we had our corporate meeting at Hampton Inn Delray Beach. Kim helped us set up the rooms she was patient with the many changes and even assisted us in ideas for food for our meeting. Jeremy took over as the Director of Sales and the transition was seamless. Jeremy assisted us and provided support as needed. All the staff that I met at Hampton Delray was efficient and a pleasure to work with. The hotel was very nice, clean, in a great location that was walkable and minutes from the beach. Thank you all !
The location is great especially for the cost, and the staff was friendly. However we experienced many issues with the cleanliness.
The first room we were given, upon entering, the first thing we saw was the mattress stripped and hanging halfway off the bed. Sheets were on the floor. I called the front desk and they immediately moved us, great!
After getting to the second room, everything seemed okay, after unpacking I went to shower and before getting in I could see long brown hair all over the floor in the shower. I didn’t want to complain again so I just cleaned the shower.
On the last day, I went into the bathroom and the counter was infested with tiny ants. At that point we were about to check out but I am honestly feeling disgusted about that. I really hope Hampton inn sees this review and works on their cleaning protocols.
Great Experience! Very modern room with very comfortable bed. The location Is ideal very close to everything but also in a very quite area. Breakfast is good and want to thank Henry for his help getting around town. All workers were very friendly and made you feel welcomed. Thank You!
The best Hampton Inn experience weve had! Lovely hotel, I'd recommend staying on the first floor as the room had very high ceilings. We stayed one night, enjoyed walking 2 blocks to the Pineapple Grove arts district for dinner, and the buffet breakfast was very nice! The staff was friendly and helpful! We would definitely stay again!
Apartment was clean and comfortable, with a very nice kitchen, laundry, dining area and living room. Kasa was very responsive to any questions we had. We really only used the apartment for sleep, so didnât have a chance to use all of the amenities.
A Gem in Delray! This cozy motel is in an excellent location, features comfortable, immaculately clean rooms, and a streamlined check-in process that the big chains could learn from.
The perfect spot for a weekend or a week in Delray Beach â¦..

First, the good. Great location in the heart of The Pineapple Grove district. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, not great. How about some pastries along with the fresh fruit? The bad; it's 10 years old and shows it. A renov
Came down to Florida for work and attended their no-gi class, everyone was really friendly, the gym was tidy and clean. All the coaches and teachers/students where very welcoming 10/10 recommend visiting if you're down in Delray Beach. OSS
I love F45! The coaches and staff are great and I have noticed a big improvement in my form and I feel my body getting stronger each week. I really appreciate that the coaches take the time to check and correct your form and are always available to h
I am a new member at LivWell. I just started less than two weeks ago but am already so impressed! You feel the warmness of a family community the entire time youâre in the gym. The staff is so good at switching up the workouts so that you do not ge
I've always been the kind of person who's hot and cold when it comes to fitness. Sometimes I'm all in, running miles every day or hitting the weights hard. Other times, it's a struggle to stay active and keep my weight in check. Over the last decade,
