Give the room a two rating because it was cleaned. The bathroom was decent, but from the start you don’t get a key have to be let in your room so if you leave and leave your door open chances of somebody walking and taking your stuff, A/C made noise all night, flush the toilet whistles, wouldn’t stay here again. Wouldn’t recommend it either. Not happy.

Very welcoming and friendly desk staff! The one gentleman at the desk went out of his way to greet me each day when I returned back to the hotel, even if he was occupied with something else. And he is a top notch dresser, too! I encountered two ladies at the desk as well and they were very kind. Also, the housekeeping staff went above and beyond for me. Marilyn is the true meaning of southern hospitality. Friendly and caring! I was very impressed with this Hampton location and will be staying there again next week!

Functional but misses the mark. Check in was quick but forgot to mention we needed a special code for free wifi or we would be charged. Coffee machine did not work. Went down to breakfast area for tea but the hot water machine had lukewarm water. Shower’s hot and cold water indicators were switched. Shower did not drain properly. Management needs to look at these details.

You might want to wait a while before you stay here. This hotel is not up to Hampton Inn standards. The shower did not have any hot water. Apparently the staff knows of this problem. They "have a part on order". However, it hasn't arrived yet. In addition, the sink in our bathroom leaked. When I notified the staff about this problem they were very apologetic. In addition they gave me 1000 points (which is equal to around $2.00 in cash). This does not even come close to dealing with a cold shower. It seems more like a slap in the face. I do not pay this much money for hotel with a cold shower! This hotel is also showing some signs of wear. As a result, it is going to be getting some remodeling in the coming year. There are plenty of other hotels in the area. You may want to try one of those.

TO HAMPTON INN CORPORATE: The front desk executive name EJ is the gentleman responsible for this review because he is a template on providing exceptional customer service. The rooms are excellent! The bathroom are excellent! The breakfast was fresh and the attendant was awesome.The cleaning staff is on a Ritz-Carlton level of excellence. During our stay we had brief hiccup with a noise situation (due to the renovation of a room) and that's when we encountered perhaps the friendliest front desk manager I have ever experienced. They smile, and I know that might sound like a little thing but this Hampton crew is genuinely happy to see you and happy to help. The gentleman quickly found us another room that was just as excellent as the first room. Even the cleaning staff manager apologized for our brief inconvenience: WOW! Because of our experience we will only stay at Hampton were available - job well done Hampton inn - Covington location! Slow clap of praise!

We always stay at the Hampton Inn in Covington while visiting family in the area. It always seemed clean. We stayed April 4-6 of this year and July 31-Aug 1. Yesterday morning while changing the sheets I spotted bugs which I now know was bed bugs. Not saying we got them there, but doing research, it takes around 3 or 4 months to surface. If you stay here, follow protcall for bed bugs. We won't be staying here again as it was the only hotel we have stayed in the last 6 months.

Was originally booked into a room that smelled like vomit and wet carpet on the second floor. Asked for another room, was given 321. This room had a very loud refrigerator. Overall, breakfast was great, service and staff were friendly and helpful.|Beware of booking on line: as a Hilton Honor member, I expected the same room rate per night. There weekday rate varies. So for more than 18$, two separate room rates charged to CC. Non refundable, non negotiable. Read the small print and rates charged.

Very clean, smells good, beds were comfortable, right off the interstate. Daniel at the desk was very pleasant. Coffee was a bit lacking. Will come again.
